Affordable Housing Public Safety Quality of Life
Affordable Housing - Introduce Legislation protecting rent stabilized apartments to prevent displacement of families.

Place political pressure on NYCHA housing facilities to improve the conditions of residents: Mold on ceilings, Lack of heat/AC, Lack of hot water, etc.

Public Safety: Support policies promoting police recruitment, funding relationship-building programs between police officers and constituents.

Quality of Life: Incentivize cleaner streets by introducing tax-breaks for organizations and small businesses that clean sidewalks, storefronts, and streets. This program would be called the "Adopt-a-block" program, similar to 'Adopt-a-highway.'
Implementing a mass-communication system to reach all (app. 140,000) residents of the district, inviting constituents to weekly town halls. It is vital to have a clear direction for the district and often times people feel a lack of transparency from their community leaders.

This dynamic changes in the first 100 days of my tenure as a city council member. I will correct the injustices and issues my constituents have dealt with before my election. Then, we will be able to adequately move forward as a united district that is fully informed and aware of what is going on in their local government.

Simply put: Our mission in the first 100 days is to go directly to the people to get them informed and involved.
The most ambitious goal I would like to achieve is the implementation of my Small Business Development Center (SBDC) plan that promotes Entrepreneurship on a wide-scale across all of New York City.

This program would build off the Small Business Services (SBS) the currently had created, but has not scaled to it's potential. We envision this plan as a place when Entrepreneurs of all generations to learn about business and revitalize the American Dream, keeping our kids off the streets and putting money into families pockets.
The largest impediments in achieving this goal is the investment in commercial real estate and the funding to achieve this goal. Although, the initial planning focused primarily on the most cost-effective method of scaling these Small Business Development Centers, we expect a lot of negotiating to fully accomplish our goal and fulfill its production to its highest potential.

Community Involvement My community involvement isn't just a resume. It's my life. I've served on the Community Board, I've been a small business owner running a bodega right here, and now I'm raising my family in this district. I don't just talk about these streets—I've lived them. My belief in a better tomorrow isn't just hope; it's a commitment I've proven my entire life.
Party Affiliation Safe & Affordable
Key Endorsements I'm proud to be backed by my neighbors—the teachers, nurses, home health aides, small business owners, street vendors, and taxi drivers who believe in a fair city that works for everyone.

Housing insecurity, food insecurity, and underfunded public schools.
Housing & Jobs:

“Rent keeps going up while wages don’t. I want to push for a five-year cap on rent hikes and at the same time back local businesses so they can hire people from our neighborhoods. Tax breaks and training programs should go to small businesses that actually create good jobs here, not just on paper.

Food Costs:

Grocery prices are out of control. I’ll back every effort to lower costs — including exploring a city-owned and city-run food chain that gives New Yorkers an affordable, reliable option instead of leaving us at the mercy of big chains.

Public Schools & Youth Programs:

Our kids deserve more than bare-bones schools and after-school programs that feel like babysitting. We can fund public schools properly, make sure students get hot nutritious meals, bring in skilled teachers and mental health support, and turn after-school hours into places where kids learn new skills, play sports, stay active, and feel supported.
Public safety, quality of life, and supporting our new neighbors.

First, public safety. I will push to ensure every public school, especially our junior highs, has a dedicated school crossing guard. We must protect our children.

Second, quality of life. I will lead the fight against Intro 1138, a poorly conceived bill that would eliminate 300,000 parking spots and cost taxpayers $3 billion for a measure even the DOT doesn't support. We need smarter safety solutions that don't make life harder for working families.

And third, empowering our community. I will establish a immigrant integration center in East Flatbush to provide language skills, job training, and legal knowledge. As an immigrant myself, I understand this struggle firsthand, and I will ensure our city helps, not hinders, those seeking a better life.
Breaking the cycle of financial exclusion in our city. That's why I'll fight to establish a public bank for NYC.

Mega-banks often redline our communities, denying small business loans and mortgages, while charging predatory fees. A public bank would hold the city's deposits and be mandated to reinvest them here—in affordable housing, local small businesses, and low-interest loans for families.

And to those who want to scream 'socialism'—this isn't about ideology, it's about options. We have the MTA, owned by the government. You can still have your car or an Uber. We have public schools and private schools. A public bank is just another option to ease the burden on those shut out by mega-banks. The decision, like always, would be yours.

It’s ambitious because it takes on powerful financial interests. But it’s achievable, and it would be a game-changer for generational wealth building in Central Brooklyn. It’s about building an economy that works for everyone, no exclusion.
First, overcoming the inertia at City Hall and the influence of the big banking lobby, which will fight this tooth and nail.

And second, designing the system correctly to ensure it's transparent, accountable, and truly serves the communities that need it most, without bureaucracy. The time for big ideas and real change is NOW!
