I pledge to sponsor legislation to restore law and order in New York City. The dangerous pro-criminal laws forced on us by Albany must be repealed — even if that means legal action against the state. Our police departments will be fully funded so they can protect every neighborhood. District Attorneys who refuse to prosecute violent criminals will be held accountable, no matter their party. New Yorkers deserve safety and justice. According to the NYPD, major crime rose 33% citywide after bail reform laws took effect in 2020 — enough is enough. I pledge to sponsor legislation to expand charter schools and protect the rights of parents to homeschool their children, giving families real choices in education. Too many New York City public schools are failing, with only 47% of students proficient in reading, according to state data. Charter schools and homeschooling empower parents to give their kids a brighter future, free from broken bureaucracies. We must put families and students first — not the failing system. I pledge to sponsor legislation to protect and strengthen parental rights across New York City—ensuring parents can’t be stripped of their rights without due process and guaranteeing transparency in special education and child welfare proceedings. Parents must have a clear voice and full transparency in all major decisions affecting their children, from special education services to custody proceedings. Parents deserve to be recognized and supported as the primary advocates for their children’s well-being and future.
My top 3 priorities will be: 1. to work with NYPD and other NYC departments to rid Roosevelt Ave of prostitution and human trafficking. 2. Ensure that the sanitation dept has enough resources and man power to keep these communities clean. 3. Provide skills and vocational training programs to local schools.
The main goal is to raise these communities of Elmhurst and Jackson Heights from the ashes and make it a family friendly community that highlights the diversity and cohesiveness of our residents.
