experience George is a veteran and a finance professional who calls the Gainesville area home. He lives with his wife and youngest daughter in Haymarket, where he served as Vice Chair of the Gainesville Democrats and represents the community on the Prince William County Board of Equalization.
family I live with my wonderful wife and daughter.
Data centers are one of the key issues of this election. I have made my stance clear that I am against new data center development, but the real challenge is going to be making sure that the data centers we currently have pay their fair share. We must work to attract small businesses and diversify the industries we host here in Prince William County. Our county spent years incentivizing these developments, but residents are standing up and saying they have had enough. I agree with them.
I’m running for the Prince William County Board of Supervisors because I believe Gainesville deserves a strong, independent voice at the table. We deserve representation that will stand up for our neighborhoods, our schools, and our future. I’m running to flip this seat because local issues matter, and they effect us more than they realize. Keeping our schools funded matters. Keeping our neighborhoods safe matters. Keeping the community's priorities first and foremost matters.
The community! I grew up in New York, so moving to an area like this was a real breath of fresh air for me and my family. People really look out for each other here. You don't get that sense of community or belonging in New York, and not even in the counties up north of us. I also can't forget to mention the natural beauty we have access to, from our rivers to our trails. Prince William County, and more specifically Gainesville, holds a very special place in my heart. It's the place I've chosen to raise my family.
