What a Supreme Court Justice Does

In New York, the Supreme Court is where your most important cases are decided. If you face a serious injury, a major contract dispute, or a criminal matter, it’s the Supreme Court that hears your case. The decisions made there affect your rights, your family, and your community. That’s why it matters who serves as your Justice — you deserve someone with experience, fairness, and judgment.

Over 30 years of legal experience in the courthouse and serving the people as the County of Rockland's chief lawyer. Tom knows the law, and has a wide experience in many subjects, from personal injury to environmental law to contracts and real estate transactions, to employment, discrimination and constitutional law. He has practiced at every level, including trials, appeals and submissions to the highest courts in the State.

As a lawyer in public service, his goal has been to ensure that government has followed the law and worked fairly for the people.
