I currently serve on Town of Lyman Zoning Board of Appeals as a volunteer. For the last three years I have attended nearly all of the public Town of Lyman meetings and I take detailed notes. I am familiar with Town initiatives and I have completed the ethics training already. All this preparation makes me ready to serve 100% day one. I have previously served on many boards and understand the responsibility of representation. My work history includes business and facility management, both skills that would be beneficial in helping the Town of Lyman move forward at this time.
First and foremost I would work to give the residents of Lyman easy access to information and a sharing their thoughts on the Town. This could be accomplished very quickly by publishing all town council agenda documents prior to the monthly meeting, allotting the first segment of every monthly meeting to public comments without prior application and livestreaming the meetings.

Secondly, it is imperative that the Town of Lyman establish a standard bid process that will be followed by all departments and begin to secure multiple bids for purchases. A pool of vetted vendors and a template for bidding must be created.

My third top priority would be to encourage the Town of Lyman to actively recruit business' to fill the empty storefronts.
I would advocate this position become volunteer as the Planning Commission and Board of Zoning Appeals. I would like to see term limits of service as well. This would allow many voices to participate in the future of the Town. It would also encourage people to serve as good servants without personal gain.
