As a graduate of Liberty University with degrees in Governmental Policies and Law, and the owner of a legal consulting business, I have dedicated my career to helping others navigate complex issues with fairness and integrity. As a Spartanburg County School District Five mentor at D.R. Hill Middle School, President of the Middle Tyger Community Lions Club and devoted Community Advocate I have and I am deeply committed to serving and uplifting our community. I know that strong leadership starts with listening, learning then leading by example. I am passionate about building a more informed, empowered and united Wellford for all.
1. Strengthen Community Engagement to ensure that every resident feels heard and connected to their local government. Transparency, accessibility and open dialogue will be at the center of my leadership.
2. Economic and Neighborhood Development I know Wellford is full of potential. Supporting small businesses while encouraging responsible franchise development and investing in infrastructure can create opportunities while preserving the character of our city.
3. Public Safety and Quality of Life: Ensuring safe neighborhoods, well-maintained public spaces, and strong partnerships with first responders are essential to building a thriving community where families feel secure and supported.
I believe any council is most effective when it leads with transparency, accountability, and open communication. Allowing for more opportunities for citizen input through community forums and outreach. Structured ways for residents to share concerns will help build trust and ensure decisions reflect Wellford’s true needs. Council members must also engage in open, collaborative dialogue. Meetings should be more than quick votes—we need real discussion, fresh ideas and a spirit of teamwork that energizes both the council and our community.
