I am a lifelong resident of Hunterdon County. I want to see my three children, currently in 2nd grade, 3rd, and 4th, have the same experience I had growing up in this area, the experience that made me want to return as an adult and contribute back to this community. When I am not raising my children with my beautiful wife, I work with some of the largest and most complex K-12 districts and Higher Education institutions in the US. I have worked on special education projects for the largest districts in the country, I have worked to bring technology to the classroom in some of the most poverty stricken. I have worked with Ivy League Institutions with $30B endowments and community colleges focused on serving the underserved. All of this has given me the background to understand how the challenges/opportunities faced by UTS today are shared across every spectrum of the country, yet the experience to know this is an exceptional community that requires unique solutions.
The principal responsibilities of a School Board are the develop and oversee policy; hire, evaluate, and oversee the administration & superintendent; and ensure the proper use of the taxpayers' investment.

The upcoming year will be critical to selecting the right superintendent that will realize the district's strategy and vision for the next 5 years.

We have made progress over the course of the last year to reign in the budget and enact measures that can bring about lasting solutions to ever-rising costs for the district.

Finally, we need to continue our rational, common sense approach to policy - ensuring the school and classroom is an environment that facilitates learning.
I believe parents have a right to know what is in their child's curricula and have the right to opt their child out when specific content does not align to their beliefs.

I believe this is a personal matter, I do not believe it is a forum for imposing one's beliefs on another or for using our children and their school to grandstand.
Improve high school readiness, measured by UTS alumni's achievement compared to other NH-V sending districts.

Improve our learning outcomes, as measured by NJSLA, with a particular focus on science, to ensure we are consistently meeting or exceeding standards.

Ensure we continue to have an enriched experience that includes music, arts, and world languages. We must work harder to ensure fiscal responsibility without cutting programs that contribute to a successful education.
Someone who will execute on the UTS vision and strategy to improve the student experience, engage with the community, create opportunities for our educators to grow, and ensure our facilities will continue to meet the needs of the township.

Inspire educators and staff to go above and beyond, realizing that they play an outsized role in the development of our children and to never take that for granted.

Ensure that we are aligned with the standards, policies, and expectations of the state, county, and township.
