The mayor is granted by state law the right to exercise legislative and administrative authority, serving as the town’s Chief Executive Officer. To serve as Mayor or Council Member a person must be a resident of the town, at least 18 years of age and registered to vote.

I chose to run because Chapin deserves leaders who listen first, act responsibly and put residence at the center of every decision.
Must be done responsibly.
Smart planning first. growth should not outpace infrastructure. Protecting community character growth should enhance Chapin small town charm not erase it.

Enforcing the Zoning Codes and encourage land trust while also developing a non-profit to secure older properties and land to retain the small town atmosphere
