I have diverse background includes 5 years on city council, roles as a GE Quality Manager, EHS Manager, and a Technical Leader for Gas Power Compliance projects . Key leadership skills include: strategic planning, cross-functional collaboration, regulatory navigation, continuous improvement/Lean, stakeholder engagement, problem-solving, and effective communication.

I joined council to promote smart growth and address long-neglected stormwater issues. We've secured over $1M in grants and spent $2M improving stormwater infrastructure, with more planned. Looking ahead, I’ll continue these efforts while expanding the Mauldin segment of the Swamp Rabbit Trail and building corporate partnerships to enhance community events and facilities.
While past councils focused on “heads in beds,” my approach prioritizes doing no harm and respecting property rights. I support annexations with consistent zoning but oppose rezoning for dense housing or unsuitable businesses.
Set clear, measurable goals for increasing the number of affordable housing units within the city. Work with state and federal representatives to secure funding and grants for affordable housing projects. Collaborate with local nonprofits, housing authorities, and private developers to create public-private partnerships. Be willing to adjust strategies based on what is or isn’t working to better meet the community’s needs.
