Make St. Paul listen to us. I am a mechanic, a dad, and a husband. Average people like me and blue collared families need more of a voice. My district is just as important as the metro. We deserve to be heard and our needs met.

We need to simplify and improve health care. This includes reducing the burdening cost of health care for working families, expanding patient choice, protecting patient privacy and holding drug gauging companies accountable.

Simplify the tax code and property tax relief. One solution tax relief is using state funds for local infrastructure and to fully fund educational state mandates. When the state funds these essential issues the local municipalities have no need to hike already high property taxes.
Anyway we can bring back focus to our communities, and fund local projects will help tackle the issue of inflation and promote a thriving economy. Investing in affordable housing, affordable healthcare, and small businesses that support the community in more ways than just the products they sell, is essential to having a vibrant community. Building a better Minnesota out of this inflation problem instead of asking the people to tighten their belts when their belts a are already too tight.
While we have made progress in recent years, systems are still in place that favor certain identities and communities over others. As a union mechanic I know how important it is that everyone get a fair shot, and while I am in the State Senate I will advance policies that bridge divides and give historically underrepresented communities the opportunities we all deserve. Specifically, the more we can expand access to quality education and healthcare the more we all can thrive.
I would like to work on more solutions to get solar panel construction in total, not just assembly, to be in Minnesota. This will need work to find ways to supplement what was lost at the federal level. Also I would look into any electricity power generation that is low in carbon emission, and what it is those industries need to develop. Our electricity demand is only going up, and we need to meet that increase in demand. This is something Minnesota can build and lead the country in.
