EASLEY Combined Utilities Commissioner
The Commission has the authority and responsibility to hire the General Manager, to set rates and charges for utility service, to approve budgets, to set regulations for the operation of the utility, and to plan for future utility expansion. If the Commission determined that system expansion is needed, the Commission will petition the City of Easley to pass a revenue bond ordinance authorizing the City to borrow money for utility system expansion.

I have a BS degree in Construction Science and Management from Clemson University. I worked in construction for 15+ years and have appraised commercial real estate for 15+ years. My background in construction and real estate valuation (appraisals) helps me understand the importance of utility availability and its impact on value.
The growth in and around Easley and its influence on how we plan and forecast power, water, and sewer maintenance and projects.
Easley Combined Utilities has been around for over 100 years providing power, water, and sewer to Easley and the surrounding area. We employ over 80 people, which makes it a large employer for the city. Goals would include maintaining a good working relationship with the city, as this helps us know what and where developments are anticipated to occur. We want to remain well positioned to meet the growth needs relative to electrical, water, and sewer capacity. We want to continue to look for ways to be more efficient in our operations, which allows us to be good stewards of our resources for the good of the organization, our employees, and shows our commitment to our customers and the City of Easley.
