We believe residents should never feel in the dark about what their local government is doing - from big financial decisions to small maintenance updates. I want to ensure the Village communicates clearly, frequently and consistently through multiple modalities with ALL of our residents. We need to get everyone signed up for our newsletter, we need to send regular reminders about Board Meetings and other events that encourage participation and we need to leverage social media platforms to boost engagement. Our website needs user-friendly updates so residents can find what they're looking for. We will also introduce real-time alerts for safety, weather, and traffic so residents have the information they need when it matters most.

The most important issues facing Sleepy Hollow are complex and multifaceted. First, the Village is on track to grow by over 30% by the time the Edge-on-Hudson neighborhood is complete, while other development pressure is changing other neighborhoods. Managing this growth through strategic investments to mitigate traffic, support the Downtown business district, create parking and pedestrian safety improvements, and to plan for other major infrastructure and public safety impacts is critical. Improving quality of life for our residents is a key concern. Finding creative ways to provide housing our volunteer force can afford is important so we can stave off fully paid fire and EMS - an unaffordable prospect for our Village. We need to be sure we are containing growth in taxes by keeping expenses in check and by finding ways to share costs with our neighboring villages. We are all being squeezed by inflation - the Village can make investments that keep costs low for residents.

Unity. This 5 square miles of beautiful Sleepy Hollow, is filled with talented people. All of which bring a level of charm, diversity, as well as an expertise in varietied fields.
The lack of unity and community has created a divide between the different neighborhoods. Exploited further by preferential treatment has created further tension and distrust.
Once this issue is worked on and resolved, we have people throughout the village that can aid us in efficiantly and effectively being able to tackle just about every other issue.
From supporting local businesses to helping establish new ones we can further capatalize on the fall tourism.
Being safety minded, allows for all our residents, young and seasoned, to experience the village with peace of mind.
Allowing our residents to add their touch to the village through events, festivals, and new groups will create an empowered resident base that is still progressing forward.
We are for the people, because we are with the people.
