HEALTH CARE & ACCESS: Everyone should have the right to basic health care that is individualized and preventative. I support expansion of MinnesotaCare's public option, abortion access, veterans and LGBTQ+ health issues, lowering the cost of Rx drugs, etc.
EDUCATIONAL EXCELLENCE: We can do better by working diligently together with our parents, teachers, and administrators to fully fund and keep our K-12 budgets focused on early childhood education, increasing proficiencies in elementary grades, decreasing achievement gaps.
TECH-ONOMY & INFRASTRUCTURE: I will champion projects like Brooklyn Park's BioTech Innovation District that will greatly benefit our NW metro and ensure that there are wealth building opportunities for all.
The economy is the flow of money. I'll create and train Minnesotans for union jobs that are the bedrock of our middle-class. With a solid middle-class, people will spend their money locally, so I'll also help entrepreneurs and small businesses grow and compete in their local marketplace and online. As businesses small and large thrive, I'll expand opportunities and incentives for them to give back to their communities. To help alleviate inflation we need to build more homes and adjust our EITC.
I'll work with everyone to pass Health Care for All legislation for every Minnesotan. Minnesota has some of the largest racial disparities in health care in the nation. And health truly is wealth, because in these times, the less we have to worry about our well-being and spending time tending to illnesses or just navigating the health care system, the more time we have to spend with family, friends, hobbies, and just to relax, so that we can be more productive overall in everything we do.
We must encourage every Minnesota resident and corporation to take action in support of our Climate Action Framework. It's a very comprehensive framework with big goals like "Clean and efficient vehicles," "Healthy farmland: accelerate soil health and nitrogen and manure management practices...," and "Transition to 100% carbon-free, reliable, and affordable electrical power and heat..." We need to come together around these goals to truly help Minnesota address the impacts of climate change.
