In the last couple of years the council is lacking professional leadership. Their transparency with decisions is missing completely and they don’t seem to be making the best decisions for the township.
By researching all the best implications of all needs of the township, I feel that the outcomes will be so much better for the tax payers.
There have been issues in the township, that have affected only part of the community, the council should not only listen, but weigh what is best for the township as a whole, whether is for its utilities, infrastructure or garbage disposal.
As a township official, I feel that we don’t have the right to block or support ICE, a federal agency. We can only see that our local government follows its security protocols.
My biggest concern is with the budget. In this day and age, the township council must consider that all spending is allocated appropriately.

I am running for office because I believe Edison is being mismanaged with overruns in various projects, lack of fiscal responsibility and the stifling of free speech at the Edison council meetings. I am uniquely qualified because I have been Human Resource Manager at a local chemical company in the area. I was president of the Edison Chamber of Commerce for ten years and finally I was president of the Edison Arts Society for another ten years. Each of these positions required meeting with a various of companies to enhance my company's image, that I balance and create budgets, negotiated with people for various contracts and fund raised to add to our treasury. After a decent amount of money was obtained, we were able to award scholarships to artists in two high schools and Middlesex College.
My priority is to secure the infrastructure so that no Edison citizen will be without drinking water for any length of time. Secondly, I would increase the speaking time so that citizens have a chance to respond to any municipal business and lastly to attack the mounting debt Edison has.
Create a bipartisan committee to study the issue, put parameters on the length of time for the study and announce their findings at a council meeting.
ICE is enforcing the law and we shall stand and support ICE.
There has been a huge increase in local crimes i.e. muggings and burglaries. I would greatly increase the police officers on the street so there is a real, noticeable police presence. And, finally I would build a real building to house our police station in the north end of Edison where most of the house burglaries occur.

Middlesex County Democratic Organization
I have been a dedicated volunteer for various causes in the Edison community and throughout New Jersey for many years. My commitment to service has been recognized with both the President's Gold and Silver Awards for my outstanding contributions. I proudly served as President of the Edison Board of Education for one year and as a board member for four years. As a technology professional with a Master’s degree in Computer Science and over 40 professional certifications, I leverage my skills to make a significant impact.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, my dedication truly shone as I provided critical support to children, parents, seniors, and individuals, ensuring they received food and medication. I organized local food drives to gather and deliver supplies to various food pantries at the local, county, and state levels, and I coordinated the distribution of PPE equipment to hospitals.
Additionally, I volunteered for the New Jersey Department of Health’s COVID-19 Awareness Campaign across the state. I led a volunteer group that successfully helped over 1,400 Edison residents secure vaccination appointments. As an active member of a large global non-profit organization, I have taken on leadership roles in numerous charitable initiatives, including walkathons, blood drives, health fairs, and disaster relief efforts.
I have also received commendations from the Edison Township Mayor and Council for my exceptional leadership in coordinating COVID-19 vaccinations. Middlesex County Government recognized my extraordinary COVID-19 relief efforts as well. My philosophy is simple: I do not rest until I have done everything possible to help residents, embodying a truly relentless spirit of service.
My experience and passion would make me a strong candidate for councilmember and a valuable asset for the residents if elected.
My experience in public service has reinforced my commitment to improving and helping our community. If given the opportunity to serve as your councilmember, I will focus on several key areas but would like to highlight three key priorities here:
1. Fiscal Responsibility and Transparency
I am committed to advocating for residents by stabilizing taxes and ensuring full transparency between municipal administration and the community. My track record speaks for itself—under my leadership and during my tenure as a member, the Edison Board of Education achieved an unprecedented Zero - 0% tax increase for Four Straight Years.
2. Safety and Security
I will work to enhance the safety of our community, ensuring that Edison remains a secure place for all residents. This includes measures to prevent theft and burglary, as well as fostering a safe cultural environment for children, youth, and families.
3. Community and Youth Empowerment
I aim to provide greater opportunities for community engagement and youth development through facilities for sports, mindfulness, and academic growth. I will also advocate for recognizing and celebrating achievements at all levels, ensuring that our residents feel valued and supported. I believe in helping people and stepping up for all residents.
With my education, experience, and passion for public service, I am confident that I can be an effective and dedicated councilmember.
Disagreements and differences are a natural part of life, and that's where I come in. Through my role as a volunteer dedicated to the community, I have developed both patience and passion for doing what’s right for the residents.
My philosophy centers on working individually with each person, listening to their concerns, and putting myself in their shoes to truly understand their issues. From there, I aim to find common ground, bring groups together, and help facilitate a consensus. I will do my best to maintain harmony and assist residents in reaching agreements on the issues that matter to them.
I am seeking Municipal Office. ICE Is federal level, so i believe there is no interaction from what i have learned.
There are several improvements that can be made. Learning is a lifelong process, and it never truly stops. We all make mistakes, but we learn from them and work hard to improve.
Public service comes with a significant responsibility to the community. Our motto should be to hold ourselves accountable to taxpayers and residents, making decisions that are always in their best interest.
