District 7 faces urgent challenges: affordability, flooding, and accountability. Westchester residents already pay some of the nation’s highest property taxes, yet the Legislature acts as a rubber stamp, approving record spending and debt without scrutiny. Playland is a clear example—tens of millions in losses piled on top of massive new capital commitments, with no clear plan for taxpayers. With 40 years in municipal finance, I know how to scrutinize budgets, rein in waste, and stop costly mistakes. I’ll also fight rising utility bills: Con Edison’s rates are higher here because Westchester subsidizes NYC, while state mandates drive energy costs even higher. Clean energy goals must balance affordability and reliability. Flooding remains our greatest local threat. I will make real flood prevention a top priority across Westchester, so families and businesses are not left at risk. One-party rule leaves no accountability. I will be the independent voice taxpayers deserve.
