Completing my 13 years as Somers Town Councilman. Past service includes 6 Years as Trustee, Somers Central School District
Affordability remains a central concern, as escalating utility costs, expanding state budgets, and new mandates continue to impact our residents. My top priorities include managing growth while keeping taxes low, maintaining public safety, enhancing services, improving infrastructure, and safeguarding Somers’ home rule.
Our achievements are a testament to the experience and collaboration among all levels of government, irrespective of political affiliation. During my tenure, we have consistently remained below the tax cap, saving millions of dollars, maintained a “triple A” bond rating, and implemented an effective grant acquisition program. We have strongly opposed utility rate increases while working to enhance service quality. Notable accomplishments also include the expansion of Reis Park with a second egress road, the construction of a larger salt shed for improved winter safety, installation of sidewalks and crossings in the business historic district, increased police staffing,
