I volunteered to bolster Assemblywoman Dana Levenberg's efforts to prevent radioactive and toxic wastewater discharge from Indian Point into the Hudson River, while canvassing for the democratic ticket, and recently co-led the activation against the 6 story population-dense 280 unit structure at 1 Half Moon Bay resulting in a temporary stoppage to that project.

The Voice of Croton was founded in response to this administration’s lack of transparency in projects that directly affect our taxes, our village’s revenue base, and our daily quality of life. As we enter our second year, the ability for nonconforming voices to contribute meaningful feedback to policy decisions remains largely ignored. We are also concerned that the needs of young families and seniors are not prioritized with a walkable community center still out of reach. And finally, village authority to override property setback and height requirements to approve multi-family rentals within single-family neighborhoods undermines our privacy, strains on-street parking, and impacts property values without allowing for community input. To preserve the magic of Croton, the issues most urgent to us are transparency, balanced representation on village boards and committees, long term fiscal responsibility and putting residents at the very center of current and long term village planning.
