Description of office: School Directors are members of a board that sets policy, determines the annual budget and levies taxes accordingly, evaluates the Superintendent, and monitors student achievement. The Board focuses on governance, while the Superintendent is responsible for the daily operation of the district. Qualifications I bring a strong background in community engagement and student well-being, having spent three years working with a nonprofit organization to deliver a prevention program to elementary students.

Both of our children graduated from the Mifflinburg School District. I want to be involved in assuring that my two grandchildren receive the same quality education. I am an advocate for every student to have the opportunity to succeed academically.
It is vital for members to openly share ideas and to have open discussions. I will use a level headed, commonsense approach to each issue which needs to be addressed. As part of a team, there is no room for a personal agenda.
