Experience and Qualifications For over 16 years, Freddy has owned and operated a small business in the South Bronx while also serving on Community Board 1 and as Chair of the Land Use Committee. Through initiatives like annual toy drives and turkey giveaways, Freddy has been there for our community in every way possible. His commitment extends beyond the Bronx, with humanitarian efforts in Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, and Mexico.

I will work with law enforcement to increase community patrols, get the illegal guns off our streets, and make our neighborhoods safer.

I will continue the work of our current Councilman, Rafael Salamanca, and build thousands of more units of 100% affordable housing for our families, seniors, and veterans.

And I will work to clean up our streets and improve our quality of life.
To create a safer, more affordable South Bronx with a better quality of life for our residents.
We must make our neighborhoods safer. Our seniors and children are in danger walking to the drug store or to school. I will not rest until we significantly reduce the rate of violent crimes in our communities.
We need the support and cooperation of law enforcement, the District Attorney, elected officials, and our community members to achieve this goal.
