I am currently serving on City Council. I’ve had dual careers as a retired USAF Officer and a career in Federal Law Enforcement investigating major fraud. I am pleased to have helped with the re-write of the City Emergency Operations Plan; helped add additional features to the new waste collection contract. I believe in transparency, fiscal restraint (but spending when it makes sense), and listening to the concerns of all citizens.
Manage future growth of the city utilizing tools such as proper planning and zoning and Unified Development Code. Continue to maintain the lowest tax rates possible while maintaining the city infrastructure, public utility and quality of life. Most of all, we need to provide a safe place for Ranch families to live and thrive.
Several projects in the near term; the potential building of a Civic Center on the city campus. Road reconstruction along Dietz. Managing Traffic flow and safety due to traffic from outside the city. The Ranch continuously is in the top tier of safest cities in TX we are constantly aware of the crime rates rising around the IH10 corridor. Water, Water, Water and common sense management so there is enough to meet needs.
