Morristown is at a crossroads, just as it was during the American Revolution. Development has brought new opportunities to town but also many challenges.

We must make sure that Morristown can handle all of the challenges that come from such rapid development: Roads are crumbling and in need of repair Parking is scarce and our residents face predatory ticketing practices Traffic has increased Sidewalks are incomplete

The current administration favors developers over our residents in Morristown. Taxes have increased 11% and according to records on file with the state, over the next 30 years Morristown may lose $81 million in tax revenue thanks to PILOTS that give developers a 30 year tax break at the expense of Morristown’s taxpayers. Who makes up for that $81 million? Morristown’s residents.

The current administration has also skipped revaluations for nearly two decades ignoring exploding development and repeated pressure from county officials. Regular revaluations would have protected Morristown’s residents from such a sharp increase, ensured fair taxation, and stabilized municipal finances. If Morristown had been collecting taxes fairly over the last 20 years, our infrastruc
For 17 years, I’ve owned and operated The Artist Baker on Cattano Avenue. When I opened my cafe, I brought something new and a little different to town. Being a business-owner connects you to people from all different walks of life. These genuine connections have led to years of long-term relationships and collaborations.

Running a successful business in Morristown has given me the experience to lead Morristown. Owning a business is a constant cycle of challenges that require strong problem-solving skills. Each trial and error teaches you to adapt and develop new solutions. I believe it’s time for something new and different in how we make decisions in Morristown.
There are so many opportunities for us to grow with intention. Morristown has a thriving nightlife and I would work on supporting our daytime businesses. As a small-business owner, I know first hand the impact our parking and traffic have on our local economy. Businesses depend on parking to be more accessible, dependable, and affordable so that their customers aren’t lost to other towns that are more convenient.

I also plan to have a Saturday Mercado Market on Speedwell that would revitalize Speedwell and complement our Farmer’s Market that takes place on the other side of town on Sundays.

I would also collaborate with diverse stakeholders and existing entities to support Tourism and Historic Preservation in Morristown. There is so much to celebrate in Morristown’s history and these celebrations will boost our local economy.
Federal immigration policy has residents concerned and some on high alert. I will make sure our community has access to information regarding their rights and the resources they need to feel safe.
The traffic studies mentioned above would help with this. A study that could determine what bus services are needed and what routes would help with the flow of traffic. Local buses during the day would encourage our downtown activities as well as parks or museums. Encourage visitors to take the train or buses into Morristown. It’s also important that the waiting areas for buses and trains be covered and well maintained to encourage use year-round. By utilizing public transportation we can make Morristown safer for everyone.

The most important challenges facing Morristown are ensuring open and transparent government, restoring fiscal responsibility, and protecting affordability for all residents. I believe government must be open and accessible, giving our community opportunities to comment, weigh in, and truly be a part of shaping Morristown’s future. I will work to expand public engagement so residents have a real voice in the decisions that affect their daily lives. Under the current administration, residents were blindsided by a steep tax increase that were poorly explained and irresponsibly handled. This failure has placed a heavy burden on homeowners by an average of $1170. I will restore fiscal responsibility by demanding transparency in how every dollar is spent, seeking out new non-tax revenue and grants, and holding the line on unnecessary spending so families aren’t forced to shoulder more than their fair share. Finally, I am committed to improving the overall quality of life in Morristown. That means keeping our town safe, vibrant, and welcoming, but also ensuring it remains affordable so families and seniors can continue to call Morristown home.
• Former Mayor of Long Hill Twp • Served as Councilman for 5 years • Served as School Board Member for 9 years earning status as certified school board member from NJ School Boards Assoc. • Current Chairman of Morris County Housing Authority • Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and MBA.

A strong economy depends on trust, safety, and stability. I will ensure open and transparent government so businesses, investors, and residents know that decisions are fair, predictable, and made with community input. I will maintain reliable infrastructure and public safety so Morristown remains a safe and welcoming place to live, work, and visit. I will be fiscally responsible by managing budgets wisely and avoiding sudden tax spikes that hurt families and discourage growth. And I will support local businesses directly by reducing red tape, encouraging investment, and creating opportunities for small businesses to thrive.
Immigration is primarily a federal issue, but its effects are felt here in Morristown. We need to approach it with both compassion and responsibility—protecting taxpayers while also showing care for those seeking a new home. I will work through our partners such as the Board of Health, social services, and both County and State agencies, to ensure that any necessary services are delivered efficiently and fairly. I will also stay closely informed on how federal policy evolves, so our community is prepared for what may be expected and can respond in a way that balances compassion with fiscal responsibility.
First, we need to stay on top of maintaining our existing properties and ensure they don’t fall into disrepair which end up costing taxpayers more in the long run. I will work with the Parking Authority to expand access to electric vehicle charging stations at fair and reasonable rates. I will also prioritize fixing potholes and maintaining safe, reliable roads, while creating more recreation areas that improve quality of life and give everyone more opportunities to enjoy Morristown.
