Mine Hill Township Council {_getChooseLabel(this.selections.length)}

The Mine Hill Township Council consists of five elected members, each chosen at-large by the voters of Mine Hill in partisan elections for a four-year term on a staggered basis as part of the November general election, with two or three seats coming up for election every other year, and the mayoral seat up at the same time that two council seats are up for vote. At the Council's organizational meeting each January, one member is elected to serve as Mayor for a twelve-month term and another is chosen to serve as Deputy Mayor.

Environmental & Water/Watershed Concerns=Issue while public infrastructure provide excellent medical and preventive care the watershed quality in MINE HILL.NJ lag behind national average {27/100vs US avg 55/100} pointing to broader environmental vulnerability.

Plan of Action:

Invest in watershed restoration via natural buffers, sediment controls, and green infrastructure to improve long- term water quality.

Partner with Environmental agencies and non-profits to monitor and rehabilitate watershed health.

Educate homeowners about local water quality issue and encourage participation in conservation efforts.
I'm working for 15 years at retails store to helping the customers' needs and training the new employees to how to use the system, Now I'm working at public school for special needs students from 3 to 7 years old to guide them and helping how to communicate and understand the lesson.
Attract New Businesses

Incentives: Offer tax abatements or streamlined permitting for businesses that open in Mine Hill.

Commercial Real Estate Mapping: Create online map of available commercial spaces to attract investors and business owners.

Zoning Flexibility: Encourage adaptive reuse of older properties or zoning update to support mixed -use development.
Demographic Insight in Mine Hill:

Population makeup: Roughly 10-16% of residents in Mine hill are non-U.S. citizens, with additional 15-16% being U.S, citizens -born citizens of immigrant origin.

While Mine Hill isn't a major immigration hub, that immigrant population still contribute to town's diversity, force, economic fabric.

1.Environmental Protection & Quality Improvement

Goal: Preserve Mine hill's natural environment, improve air/quality/water quality, and protect spaces.

Actions:

Protect wetlands and wooded areas like those near Randolph Trail and former mining site, using zoning regulations and conservation easements.

Promote green infrastructure, such as a rain gardens permeable, pavement. green, roofs, especially in any new development.

Upgrade stormwater systems to prevent pollution runoff into stream.

Organize community cleanups and native tree planting in local parks.

Encourage residential composting and recycling to reduce waste and landfill dependency.

2.Sustainable Transportation Infrastructure

Goal: Improve Transportaion access without damaging the environment.

Actions:

Improve public transit connections to Dover and Morristown {NJ Transit train lines}, potentially adding shuttle services or better bus routes,

Build and connect pedestrian /bike paths that link neighborhoods to schools, parks, and shopping -reducing short car trips.

Install EV charging stations at public buildings and shopping centers to encourage electric vehicle use.
