Education CBSD K-12, undergraduate degree from Princeton University, Master’s degree from NYU
Experience Finance professional, volunteer, activist, and organizer. Member of the Doylestown Township Finance Committee. Proud parent.
I believe what's most important is that we address both the current and future needs of the township, specifically as it relates to affordable housing, safety, and accessibility. I will take a measured approach to reviewing proposed construction projects and as well as our construction and property maintenance codes. As it relates to safety, the Township, like many other municipalities, is facing a shortage of volunteer firefighters. As a member of the Finance Committee I will be supporting a study to determine how to incentivize new volunteers and how to migrate to a hybrid or fully paid department in order to keep our community safe in cases of emergency. I’m also committed to making sure our community is inclusive for everyone. That means ensuring public spaces, services, and information are fully accessible. I’ll work to remove barriers, listen to the needs of my constituents, and push for practical policy that makes Doylestown a better place for all residents.
I'm running for Township Supervisor because I deeply care about the community of Doylestown—a town I have always been proud to call home no matter where my college and early career took me. I moved back a few years ago to start my own family, and by serving as Township Supervisor, I hope to help preserve Doylestown as a safe, vibrant, and inclusive place to live—not only for my daughters, but for all who call it home. I believe I not only offer a fresh perspective but I have the proper background to do the job. I am committed to ensuring our town continues to meet the needs of residents today, while planning thoughtfully for the years ahead.
I hold a master’s degree which focused on public finance, providing me with a strong foundation in budgeting, resource allocation, and fiscal responsibility. Through my years of experience in financial services, I’ve overseen complex projects, led teams, and made high-stakes, thoughtful decisions—honing skills that will allow me to be an effective Township Supervisor. My time as a Division I athlete taught me the importance of teamwork, something I bring to everything I do. I will lead with compassion and will value the needs, opinions, and ideas of all members of the community regardless of whether or not they voted for me. I will serve as Supervisor with an open mind, free from personal agenda or ego, making decisions based solely on what's best for the community.
Education 1990 Rutgers University BS Business Management w/honors; member of Beta Gamma Sigma
Experience Over 30 years' experience in international business culminating in ownership of a successful Buying Agency providing services to US Military Exchanges; over 20 years serving on various Doylestown Township Boards and Committees.
Practicing fiscal responsibility with a focus on debt reduction, funding first responders, maintaining infrastructure and ensuring proper reserves are maintained. Environmental stewardship balancing future development while preserving open space, keeping locally controlled access to public sewers and safe public water. Maintaining our excellent credit rating while supporting measures to meet present and future pension obligations. All can be accomplished by leaving politics at the door, putting township residents first and taking a civil and respectful approach when working with and listening to recommendations from our dedicated township staff, members of volunteer boards and commissions, advisors, residents and fellow members of the Board of Supervisors, who are responsible for governing on behalf of township residents and businesses.
I am running to continue the stewardship of those elected before me, while providing residents of Doylestown Township accessibility, transparency, professionalism and experience they deserve in a Supervisor. I have been honored to serve on various boards and committees during my 30 years living here; including as Chairman of the Doylestown Township Municipal Authority, and Public Water & Sewer Advisory Board. Since 1995 Doylestown Township has been home to my family. I will work to continue making our township a welcoming community for families to call home by protecting open spaces and expanding programs within budget constraints; while being an environmental steward and ensuring Doylestown Township stays the Best-in-Class community we all know and love! I look forward to being part of a team providing a voice to all residents, while protecting services we deserve and expect.
My inclusive leadership style, being a creative problem solver, a relationship builder, having a focus on social responsibility and a proven business acumen are qualities I believe will help me be an effective Supervisor. In addition, over 25 years serving on various boards and commissions has provided valuable knowledge and insight of how local government functions, which allows me to be a contributing member of the Board of Supervisors on my first day. Furthermore, a successful business career spanning over 35 years, while being a business owner the past 18 years, provides additional private sector experience in leadership, human resources, public relations, legal matters, budgeting, decision making and other areas important to being an effective Supervisor.
Education Central Bucks School District K-12, BA from Pennsylvania State University
Experience Township Supervisor since 2020, software engineer and former committee member of Doylestown's Environmental Advisory Council and Public Water & Sewer Advisory Board
Doylestown is in the middle of a transition as our population ages and housing for new residents, such as those looking to return to their hometown, is out of reach. We must maintain a balancing act to make sure residents of all ages have the resources they expect from local government. Our volunteer services, such as fire and emergency medical, face shortages of volunteers and funding. We need to pursue policies that ensure Doylestown can support the essential services all residents rely on.

As liaison to the township’s Planning Commission, I’ve been working with them to pursue policies to make housing more affordable for younger generations and allow current residents to provide in-law suites for parents that may require extra care. We must work with our state legislators to collaboratively address funding needs of our emergency services and see they have the staff they require.

To maintain the quality of life we have in Doylestown, we must address these looming needs head on.
When I ran for this office previously, a family member asked me “Why do you want to do a job where you get yelled at all the time?” At the time, I felt it was my civic duty, a trait that was ingrained into me when I became an Eagle Scout with the Boy Scouts of America. After serving as an elected supervisor for several years, I can answer that question now by saying I actually enjoy when residents come to make their complaints known. Just part of the job, yelling or not.

When someone comes to our meetings concerned about access to sewer, getting their road paved or advocating for the number of chickens they can have on their property, I can actually do something to help them. In the political environment we live in today, residents need to feel they are being heard. Even if we don’t agree initially, having that dialogue and coming together for solutions that do the most good for our neighborhoods is truly my favorite part of this job.
It’s been an honor to serve the town I grew up in and watch my son do the same. The past 5 years as supervisor built on my previous experience as a volunteer on our Environmental Advisory Council and Public Water & Sewer Advisory Board. I have been hands-on working with residents and township staff to keep investing in the needs and future of our community.

I’ve overseen dozens of miles of road paving across the township, pushing for roads that hadn’t been paved since I was in third grade in 1995. I’ve worked with our staff and Water & Sewer Board to help residents secure low interest loans for sewer installation. I’ve served as liaison on the Environmental Advisory Council and Bike & Hike Committee to protect our local environment and improve recreational access. And much more.

I believe I have proven I have the experience and character to serve the residents of Doylestown Township for another 6 years and look forward to the opportunity to continue to do so in the hometown I love.
