What qualifications and experience do you have that will assist you in the performance of the duties of this office?

Education Ph.D., Artificial Intelligence, Northwestern University.
Experience Two-term member of Doylestown Borough Council, chair of Community and Governmental Affairs Committee. CEO/Managing Director for two defense tech firms and founder of two defense tech startups.
Having served on Borough Council for the past two terms, I've gained a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities before us, and among the most important to me are these two:

1. Maintaining our town's unique character while managing growth and development. As development continues, it's crucial to align growth with our Comprehensive Plan and to preserve the Borough's history and charm. I will prioritize thoughtful and sustainable development, ensuring zoning regulations are effectively enforced, and engaging in proactive planning to balance growth with preservation of open spaces and historic buildings.

2. Ensuring long-term sustainability. Our roads, sidewalks, water, and tree canopy are vital to our quality of life. I will continue to advocate for responsible investment in our natural and engineered infrastructure to proactively address growth needs and foster sustainable practices and ordinances.
I am running for my third term on Doylestown Borough Council because I am deeply committed to our community and believe I can continue to contribute my experience and dedication to making Doylestown an even better place to live, work, and raise a family. I am passionate about public service and want to continue using my knowledge and relationships to ensure Doylestown remains a vibrant and thriving town for all its residents.

I am optimistic about the future, with several new faces joining Council in the past few years who will provide fresh ideas and an energetic commitment to ensuring a prosperous and sustainable community in the coming years.
My primary qualification is my experience serving two previous terms on the Doylestown Borough Council, during which time I have protected green spaces, established our Pride Festival Committee, reduced our debt costs, and made our public meetings and social media less exposed to hate speech. My pragmatic, problem-solving mindset is supported by my comprehensive understanding of the Borough's operations, budget processes, and local ordinances, and by strong relationships with Borough staff, fellow Council members, and community stakeholders.
Education BA Economics Temple University, Grand Diplome Cordon Bleu Paris
Experience 8 years serving on the Historical Architectural Review Board, 4 years Serving on Borough Council as Vice President
Our Borough Council has passed an important Comprehensive Plan 2025 to help our town continue to look forward with historical preservation, public safety, housing and sustainability. Along with my colleagues I look forward to implementing the ideas that our community suggested in this plan.
My favorite piece of being on Borough Council is helping neighbors with solutions large and small. Our daughter Maggie passed away five years ago from cancer and her passion in life inspires me to serve my community.
I have been a local business owner for over 30 years, a trustee on school boards and grew up in Doylestown. I am Chair of the Finance and Pension Committee for our town, a Member of the Zoning and Planning Committee, Public Safety Committee and the Police Commission.
