Newtown Borough is well known for our wonderful historic district, but we are so much more than that! We are a beautiful small town with a wide variety of homes, schools, shops, businesses and places of worship, woven together into a vibrant living village. Every block, area and neighborhood in the Borough contributes to the wonderful community character we all enjoy. Each part of the borough has a distinct mix and feel. I want to work to improve our zoning regulations to foster the kinds of building and renovation which continue to build upon what is great about all of Newtown Borough.
I'm committed to preserving our historic architectural heritage and building on the beauty, walk-ability, and safety of our Borough.
I am an incumbent Borough Council member and former 9-year member of the Newtown Borough Planning Commission with broad experience as a Borough government volunteer. I am a career commercial real estate development executive - I apply my deep understanding of real estate and construction practices in the service of our community.

Experience
Fourth year in current term as Newtown Borough Councilor. Currently President, previously Vice President.
With its expanding popularity both as a destination and a place to live, Newtown Borough is facing unprecedented traffic congestion. Our current infrastructure is not conducive to vehicles,
cyclists, and pedestrians sharing the roadway, and the safety of those who try to do so is at risk. To address this, we will need to get creative within the limited space we have by making crosswalks more visible, working with the police to curb speeding, and looking for ways to reduce non-local traffic from driving through town.
I am running for re-election to Newtown Borough Council to continue giving back to the community in which I grew up. In my fourth year as a Newtown Borough Councilor, I currently serve as President. I believe in fostering a community environment that is both collaborative and respectful, and I approach my council duties with that teamwork mentality. I look forward to continuing the work I've begun, and of course, serving the wonderful residents and businesses of this community.
As a current Newtown Borough Councilor, I have served on an array of committees that have given me a well-rounded education in local municipal government. I've worked with the Recreation Board; Walk Friendly Newtown; Streets, Lights, and Properties; HARB; JHC; Budget and Finance; Police Committee; and Fire Services Committee. Honing those skills over the last few years will allow me to better achieve the goals I have for the next few years.
