Qualifications for Office 8 years experience as Mayor
Communication I believe is always an issue. I try to use social media as much as possible along with websites and physical postings but it always seems tough to get to everyone. It’s a project I continue to work on. A Mayor is responsible for the safety and security of their municipality. Keeping a fully staffed Police Dept. has been one my highest priorities, but it’s a struggle for small towns like mine to do so. I continue to work with my Borough Council to attract and retain good Officers. It’s also especially important for our Fire Dept. and other emergency services. Helping our Businesses by bringing in as many potential customers is another priority. Making sure we have yearly events and that those events are advertised as far as we can reach, helps bring in as much foot traffic as possible. This puts potential customers at the doorstep of our Businesses to help them prosper.
