I take the responsibility of Township Supervisor seriously and believe every resident deserves direct access to their elected officials to discuss issues, voice concerns, and share ideas. I am committed to being accessible, transparent, and open to discussion—regardless of political views, background, or where someone lives in the Township.

To improve effectiveness and efficiency, I will:

Support policies that attract people-friendly businesses and essential services such as supermarkets, food providers, and healthcare facilities—to create local jobs and prevent tax increases.

Protect clean water and preserve Tunkhannock’s peaceful rural character.

Fully support our first responders and Volunteer Fire Company.

Work collaboratively with fellow Board members and Township staff to promote responsible budgeting, comprehensive planning, and long-term road maintenance.

Modernize communication so that residents are better informed and more engaged with their local government.

It’s important to balance visionary thinking with practical governance- this I know. At the same time, I truly believe we can honor our current laws while also reaching toward what’s possible! I support increased transparency and communication through a Township Communications Policy, improved website access, meeting livestreams, and civic education sessions. I’ll advocate for responsible development by reviewing our Comprehensive Plan with community input, strengthening environmental protections, and encouraging development that preserves our rural character. I also support enhanced county-level collaboration by engaging with the Council of Governments, applying for shared grants, and working with regional planners to align our efforts and expand smart local impact. These goals can only be achieved when a township actively listens to its people and prioritizes working collaboratively; above all, that is what I hope to foster in my potential role as Tunkhannock Township Supervisor.
