Bachelors from Temple university’s Fox school of business and a minor in Political Science
Experience
Business owner, part time teacher, real estate property manager
I would eliminate the policy requiring all board member emails to copy the superintendent—this slows communication and feels politically motivated. I also oppose repeated raises to the superintendent’s salary (now over $200,000 plus a travel stipend), which should instead fund classrooms and student services. Restoring direct, efficient dialogue among board members, staff, and the community will keep our focus where it belongs: on student success.
Yes—I’ve attended numerous meetings and understand every rule and protocol. The current Republican majority often prioritizes internal politics over student outcomes. I will refocus our efforts on academic excellence, safety, and well-being rather than partisan maneuvering. True transparency and progress mean putting kids first at every turn.
I walked the halls of Bensalem High School as a student and now substitute teach in Philadelphia, giving me a dual perspective on educational equity. I see firsthand what urban schools can achieve and what resources we lack locally. With a business degree from Temple University’s Fox School of Business and years running a home-care operation, I bring both financial acumen and compassionate leadership. Above all, I listen—to teachers, parents, and students—and turn their insights into action. My blend of lived experience, academic training, and community commitment makes me uniquely equipped to serve.

Experience
Family Law Attorney, Former Bensalem School Board Member, Former Bucks IU School Board Member
When I was on school board from 2017-2021 Bensalem School Board did not have a policy committee. Within a year, I was able to successfully spearhead the creation of the Policy Committee for Bensalem School District. As chair, I ensured almost the complete review of each policy, which included the revision of dozens of policies. It would be my job to ensure that the school district operates according to policy, and to create policies that would help reduce bullying and hate speech.
As a former school board member, I am well-versed in the procedures and policies governing school board.
I am a former school board member, mother of two BTSD students, BTSD graduate, and attorney. I spend the majority of my professional life helping parents advocate for the best interests of their children, which is what I would do as a member of school board. As a parent, I understand the concerns of other parents and get a front row seat to what is going on in the schools through my children. My legal expertise, coupled with my school board and first hand expertise as a parent and graduate lend themselves to a successful second term on school board.
Education
B.A. Economics, Dickinson College, Bensalem High School class of 2003
Experience
Data Analyst (2008-present); Children First PA, Board Member (June 2021 - June 2024); Bensalem Assn. Dedicated to Gifted Education, Executive Board
We need to revisit the policy that requires board members to include the Superintendent in all communications with district employees. This was approved by the current board majority when the Superintendent’s contract was renewed, and it limits district employees from discussing their concerns with members of the school board.
Additionally, we need to update the district’s policies that address bullying to make sure that they are clear and enforceable.
I have attended many School Board meetings— as well as Committee Meetings. I’m familiar with the structure of the meetings and how the Board operates. I’m also familiar with what could be improved to ensure the meetings are both productive AND provide more transparency and accessibility for constituents and stakeholders. For example, the current board majority rolled back the practice of live-streaming Committee Meetings for the public. These committee meetings are where the bulk of the discussion happens when it comes to issues of importance like curriculum, facilities, policy changes, etc. Access to information shouldn’t be limited solely to those with the ability to attend meetings in person.
As a Data Analyst, I am adept at weeding through large amounts of data to identify what is important for the project at hand, and curating and presenting that data in a way that is digestible for the general public.
In recent years, I’ve also had the opportunity to serve on multiple boards, most applicably, the Board of the non-profit Children First PA. There I had a front row seat to the work being done to address the funding crisis facing Public School Districts in PA. In addition to our work pushing lawmakers to advocate for and adopt policies that would improve public education and help alleviate the burden for local taxpayers, we also worked directly with schools, educators, students, healthcare professionals, and community leaders.

I believe policies should reflect common sense, transparency, and the best interests of Bensalem students, families and taxpayers. I support revisiting policies related to residency enforcement to ensure district resources are serving Bensalem residents. I’d also like to see clearer, more consistent communication around curriculum content, especially at the elementary and middle school levels, to ensure age-appropriateness and parental involvement. Additionally, I support evaluating spending policies to prioritize safety, academics, and responsible facility improvements.
Yes, I have attended several Bensalem School Board meetings and am familiar with the Board’s structure and procedures. I understand how the Board functions and conducts business, including the use of Robert’s Rules of Order to guide meetings and decision-making. My experience attending meetings has given me insight into the responsibilities of Board members and the importance of transparency, collaboration, and respectful dialogue. I’m prepared to contribute effectively from day one.
As a longtime Bensalem resident, parent of children in the district, and active community member, I bring a strong personal investment in the success of our schools. I have attended multiple School Board and committee meetings and am familiar with Board procedures, including Robert’s Rules of Order. My professional background includes leadership, budgeting, and decision-making experience, which I will use to promote transparency, fiscal responsibility, and safe, effective schools. I’m committed to representing families and making thoughtful, student-focused decisions.

I have a Master's Degree in Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment and a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education with a Specialization in Special Education

Currently, I manage the business operations for a medical practice. I am a former teacher and have many years of school volunteer experience.
A policy I’d like to see eliminated is the new superintendent policy that prohibits district employees from communicating with any school board member unless they include the superintendent. This limits the freedom of school employees to discuss concerns with the board, who directly oversees the superintendent. Unfortunately, this was something the current board majority agreed to in renewing the superintendent contract.
I started attending school board and committee meetings a few years ago and I understand the format and procedures under which they operate.
I am the mom of two BTSD students. Over the years, I have served on the elementary home and school board, volunteered at the middle school level, and I am currently the secretary of the high school drama boosters board. I am a former educator with a Master’s degree in Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment. In my current role, I oversee the business operations of a medical practice where I support a team of healthcare professionals and manage the business finances. Through these experiences, I have gained a high degree of operational knowledge and learned to navigate multiple school systems as a teacher, a parent, and an advocate.

I feel that our schools need to maintain a safe and inclusive environment by providing the appropriate resources and curriculum to ensure personal development and safety. I am for personal accountability and responsibility, and feel that a merit based system provides leadership and personal growth opportunities.
Yes, I’ve attended School Board meetings and I’m familiar with the structure and procedures of the Board.
I have worked in the corporate sector for over 25 years in the veterinary healthcare industry. During my tenure, I have participated in contract negotiations, successfully launched new products and services, and understand the importance of both internal and external stakeholder engagement. I have been involved with the Belmont Hills Parent Teacher Group serving as President and Vice President over the past three years. One of my proudest accomplishments was leading the effort to raise funds for a new playground structure at Belmont Hills Elementary. In just six months, we secured over $50,000 through the collective efforts of the Bensalem Township School District students, local businesses, community organizations, and residents.
