Experience 40+ Years in the Insurance Industry. Last 14 Years I served as the Chief Claims Officer for the WR Berkley Corp overseeing two operating Units: Berkley LIfe Science and Berkley Technology Underwriters
We need to remove politics from our schools. There needs to be a greater focus on academics, and curriculum. Council Rock is falling behind in academic standing within the Commonwealth of PA, all while spending has increased. Academic scores and college readiness scores have decreased, yet spending per student has continued to rise. In 2018 the cost per student was just over $12,000. The numbers for 2024 were over $20,000. We are failing our students and families by focusing on political issues rather than academics.
I retired at the end of 2023 and have been attending Council Rock School Board meetings over the course of 2024. I am familiar with Roberts Rules of Order, the structure and procedures of Council Rock's Board proceedings.
I retired after 40 years in Insurance. During my career I was involved with all types of commercial claims, including the last 14 years of my career in the Senior Claims Management Officer position. As a financial institution insurance companies are subject to greater scrutiny, than other industries. As such I am versed in internal and external audits, financial transparency, budgets, litigation and vendor management, as well as having an in depth understanding of risk and litigation. I believe my qualifications are unique to the board and will add value.
Education Bachelor of Business Administration: Susquehanna University and MBA: Temple University.

Public schools are the backbone of our community and our prosperity. It is important that our school system is focused on the students and delivering an outstanding educational experience. Council Rock policies must enhance educational excellence, student safety and well-being, and financial discipline. Policies must value the voices of parents and respect our outstanding teachers and educators. If elected, I will listen to community input and examine all policies with an eye to their impact on our students, families, educators, and taxpayers. We all succeed when our younger generations thrive.
Yes, I have viewed many school board meetings online to stay in tune with what was happening in the district and the decisions the board was making. This has helped keep me apprised of the top areas of focus within the district and the work the current board has ongoing.
As a mom of two young children in the district (ages 7 and 10) I have firsthand experience as a parent in Council Rock District. I genuinely care about the long-term success of our school district and the path taken to deliver educational excellence. I’m not about politics - I’m about our kids and our community.

As an MBA and businessperson, I will bring financial discipline to our school board and will be a dedicated advocate for our students, parents, and teachers, ensuring that their voices are heard. My tenure in global business has aided me in developing strong collaboration and management skills that are widely transferable to managing large budgets and working to achieve a common goal across differing viewpoints.
