Experience
Served as Bucks County Controller from 2018-2022, prior career in Commercial Insurance and Finance
I had the privilege of serving as the Bucks County Controller from 2018 to 2022. During my term while serving as the financial watchdog for the county taxpayers we were able to increase the number of audits of row offices, tax collectors, and county departments. These comprehensive audits uncovered financial discrepancies, helped improved operations, and protected taxpayer dollars. I commissioned investigations that uncovered waste and wage theft and allowed us to claw back tax payer money so that it was allocated appropriately.
Based on my successful record as Bucks County Controller from 2018 to 2022 I believe I am the best person for the job. While serving as the financial watchdog for county taxpayers I helped improve the productivity and efficiency in the Controller's office and would like to expand on that work with another term. County taxpayers and residents deserve a Controller who leads the way in expanding the number of audits of row offices, county departments and tax collectors, one who uncovers waste and inefficiency and demands accountability across county government operations. I was very effective in this office on behalf of Bucks County taxpayers and residents, and I want to continue this work.

Experience
I was honored to be sworn in as County Controller on January 2, 2022. For nearly twenty years, I’ve built a successful career as a litigation attorney and small business owner. I’ve also been proud to give back as a long-time volunteer in both the legal community and with local non-profits.
As County Controller, I rely on my legal expertise every day to review contracts and county expenditures to ensure both transparency and that every taxpayer dollar is spent in accordance with the law. The Controller has the authority to issue subpoenas, gather evidence, and take testimony under oath, tools I’ve used successfully for nearly twenty years, including during investigations conducted in this role. I’ve made it a priority to root out fraud, waste, and abuse and saved taxpayers more than $2 million by preventing payment on fraudulent claims.
As County Controller, I believe it’s essential to serve as an independent fiscal watchdog over County spending. I’ve built a strong record of fiscal accountability, government transparency, and nonpartisan oversight. I unapologetically hold government accountable regardless of political affiliation because my commitment is to the taxpayers, and I’m proud to give back to Bucks County residents through initiatives like our fraud, waste, and abuse investigations, as well as the launch of our Unclaimed Funds Program. In just over two years, I’ve returned more than $800,000 to rightful owners, including individuals, small businesses, municipalities and nonprofits. Every day, I work to safeguard taxpayer dollars.
