Keeping Warminster financially healthy. When I took office in 2020, the previous majority board left us with a $2.5 million deficit and no plan for financial stability other than privatizing our water and sewer. Under my leadership, we reigned in the out-of-control spending and replaced poorly selected professional staff with highly competent, experienced managers and department heads. Warminster is now financially stable with ample reserves to weather any short-term economic upheaval. We kept control of our water and sewer, and have not raised local taxes in the past four years (we raised the fire fighting tax in 2021 to pay for full-time firefighters). Another challenge is maintaining the highest level of public safety we can afford. Previous boards reduced our police force to 37 officers and turned a blind eye to our volunteer firefighters. We now have 44 police officers and five full-time daytime firefighters. I work tirelessly to secure federal and state aid for public safety.
As a 30 year resident of Warminster, I am seeking re-election so we don't revert to past mistakes that led us to the bankruptcy cliff. As an elected official in Warminster, I represent all residents and not just one party. Warminster is a wonderful place to live and raise a family with fantastic outdoor recreational resources and a vibrant business community. I selflessly work with our elected federal and state officials to secure funding to improve the lives of our residents. For example, working with our congressman, I secured $1.5 million in federal funding to demolish the 180 condemned and blighted townhomes at Shenandoah Woods and tirelessly work for $15 million more we need to convert it to walking trails. Through our state senator and representative, we received over $1 million for stormwater improvements and funding for police and firefighters. We also paved 45 of the 111 miles of township owned roads since I took office in 2020. The future is bright, let's not go back!
I am currently Chairman of the Warminster Board of Supervisors and served in that position for five of my six years in office. I also serve on the Warminster Municipal Authority and the Bucks County Redevelopment Authority. Past public service in Warminster includes the Planning Commission, Environmental Advisory Council, Pension Advisory Committe, and Budget Committee. Outside my time in government, I serve on the Board of Directors and work as Technical Director for an environmental/energy consulting firm that represents international to small business sized clients in multiple states. I am also the managing member/owner of two businesses in New Jersey. I bring my knowledge and experience to the township with proven results that I believe keeps Warminster a thriving place to live and great community to be a part of.
Education Bucks County Community College
Experience Previous Warminster Township Auditor and Warminster Township Supervisor
The community is faced with growing costs and I plan on working to maintain a surplus in the Warminster finances. I served on the board when we began turning a deficit around without selling off any of our assets.
I would like to continue to make Warminster a beautiful community for our residents to be proud to live and grow.
As a previous Warminster Township Supervisor, I worked toward keeping our water authority, paving township roads, ending wasteful spending, adding police officers and making Warminster Community Park a beautiful asset in our township.
