Experience I have six years’ experience on the Plumstead Township Board of Supervisors, the last three years as Chair of the Board. I have 30 years experience as an Electronics Engineer and Program Manager for Department of Defense contractors. Four years service in the US Marine Corps.
In conversations with Plumstead residents safety and taxes are important issues. It is no secret that volunteerism has been declining throughout the US since about 1960. Plumstead’s fire companies are all volunteer and that raises this to probably the top issue facing us. A long-term plan is needed to ensure reliable fire service to our residents. In the short term, we need to make sure the fire companies have the financial resources to succeed and have a viable recruiting and retention program for volunteers. I don’t believe anyone wants to see a tax increase, so the township has to make maximum use of the revenues we receive and control spending. Plumstead Township has not raised taxes for eight years because the Supervisors exercise fiscal conservatism and that has been and will be my goal also.
In short, I like the position. I like being able to participate in the decision-making process on the issues facing our township. I like and admire the people I work with, who are all dedicated employees. I like being able to help people. I enjoy being able to recognize people for their outstanding accomplishments on behalf of Plumstead. I like working with other members of the Board to ensure we are doing the best we can for our residents. I have no aspirations for any other elected office. I want to do the best I can at the township level and I will devote my full energy to that goal.
My educational background and experience will enable me to perform my duties capably for the benefit of the residents. I am a 28-year resident of Plumstead. I know the Township and its residents. I have over 30 years’ experience in managing projects from inception to completion. I am an Electronics Engineer by trade and thus have extensive experience in troubleshooting with emphasis on finding the root cause of problems and instituting corrective actions. I am a Marine and Vietnam War veteran, and those experiences helped to shape my values and desire to serve my community.

I spent over 15 years of my career as an investment analyst, working with some of the largest asset managers in the world. I was responsible for the portfolio manager selection and due diligence for a portfolio of about $30 billion in assets. Following my career as an investment analyst, I decided to pursue what I truly loved doing which is strategy development and execution. Today, I serve as a Sales & Service Enablement Manager where I partner with business leaders to drive process optimization, operational efficiency, and impactful training and enablement programs to drive revenue growth. I am also a faithful volunteer at a local Plumstead Township non-profit as I fully believe in giving back to the community.

Experience Plumstead resident for over 28 years, small business owner alongside my husband, serve on the township's Environmental Advisory Council, active in community service for many years
A recent community survey revealed that 95% of Plumstead residents believe the township is a wonderful place to live and raise a family. However, they also expressed a strong desire for improvements in infrastructure, thoughtful planning for future growth, and upgrades to our parks system. Guided by this community feedback, I am committed to working closely with the board, township manager, and department committees to identify and implement fiscally responsible enhancements that best serve the residents of Plumstead Township.
My husband and I have proudly called Plumstead home for over 28 years, raising our two children—now 23 and 24—in this vibrant community. I am running for office to help preserve the unique character and quality of life that make Plumstead special. We are fortunate to live in a place that balances scenic open space, welcoming neighborhoods, working farmland, beautiful parks, and a thriving small business community. While we benefit from the amenities of neighboring towns, we cherish returning each day to the peaceful, rural environment that remains largely untouched by widespread urbanization. I want to ensure that this balance is maintained for future generations.
As a long-time resident, I am deeply invested in the well-being and future of Plumstead Township—it’s not just where I live; it’s where I’ve built my life. Over the years, I’ve worn many hats: registered nurse, dedicated church and school volunteer, property manager, member of the township’s Environmental Advisory Council and vice chair of the Plumstead GOP. These diverse experiences have strengthened my ability to listen, lead, and collaborate effectively. I believe strong communities are built on connection and communication, and I am committed to working with residents to ensure Plumstead remains a great place to live and raise a family.
