What do you consider to be the most important issues facing your community, and how do you propose to address them?

Why are you running for this office?

What qualifications and experience do you have that will assist you in the performance of the duties of this office?

When listening to many neighbors, the most important issues facing our Township are the increase in development and how it affects all of our utilities, resources, impacts our schools and hospitals, creates traffic and increases wear on our roads. We must safeguard our green spaces as they are the treasures of our community.

Another issue is the lack of community within the Township. Parades, events and traditions need to be restored or created.

Last, but not least, is transparency in our local government. Provide ways to truly involve the residents in decisions being made and thoroughly inform them on the reasoning for certain decisions/votes.
I love living here, but I don't like the direction our Township is headed in for certain areas. I want to reestablish some of the things that once made this area a great place to live and do business in, all while ensuring its safety for residents and business owners.
In my 27 year career in Print, I have successfully created/received bids, negotiated contracts and made equipment purchases in the millions.

In my 15 years of coaching youth, semi-pro and pro football, I have succeeding in building and leading championship teams while creating an organization that everyone felt a part of and was vested in.

In my 8+ years as a volunteer firefighter, I've learned how to work as a team, communicate and look out for everyone's best interests/safety all while making decisions in high-pressure circumstances.

I think some of the most important issues facing Middletown revolve around public safety, protecting green space, stopping out of control development, making sure tax dollars are being handled respectfully and building a greater sense of community. My record on the Middletown Planning Commission shows my commitment to stopping development that is not in the interest of Middletown residents and emphasizing the protection of our parks and green spaces that our community cherishes. I also think our local government needs to be more thoughtful with how our tax dollars are being spent to ensure our money is going towards the best services possible.

To combat these issues, if elected, I would put power back in the hands of residents and not special interests by standing up to developers when necessary. I want to organize more community events and make sure any contracts we have with service providers are negotiated with the best interest of tax payers in mind.
I am running for office because I love my community. I was born and raised in Middletown and know how special our home is. I want to give back to the place that has provided me with so many opportunities. For me, public service is a calling and I know this community needs new leaders with new ideas to tackle the issues we are facing.
I have been involved in local politics for years and have been on the Middletown Township Planning Commission since 2023. I am now the Vice Chairman. I also work for a State Representative and serve as his Deputy Chief of Staff. These experiences have given me insight on local and state politics and have emphasized the importance of community building and constituent service. I want to bring that spirit and commitment to public service into Middletown Township.
