The lack of transparency and overdevelopment. To address transparency, I propose better and detailed, access to reporting on borough decisions, budgets, and projects. This includes live-streaming council meetings and creating an online portal where residents can easily access meeting minutes, financial records, and proposed ordinances. By fostering open communication, we can rebuild trust and ensure residents are informed and engaged in the decision-making process. On overdevelopment, I recognize the strain that rapid growth places on our infrastructure, environment, and quality of life. To tackle this, I advocate for following the zoning regulations and comprehensive land-use planning that prioritizes sustainable development. This includes preserving green spaces, enforcing limits on high-density projects. I will also push for community input in the planning process to ensure development aligns with Hulmeville’s character and long-term needs.
I am running for council in Hulmeville Borough because I am deeply committed to preserving the safe, small-town community that drew my family here. My wife and I, along with our 22-month-old daughter and one-month-old son, moved to Hulmeville for its strong sense of community and family-friendly environment. I want to ensure that our borough remains a place where families like ours can thrive, with transparent governance, responsible development, and a focus on maintaining the close-knit character we cherish. By serving on the council, I aim to protect and enhance the quality of life for all residents, keeping Hulmeville a safe and welcoming home for future generations.
For 18 years, I have been actively engaged in civics, giving me a deep understanding of community needs and governance processes. This involvement has honed my ability to listen to residents, advocate for their interests, and navigate complex local issues. Additionally, as a successful entrepreneur, I built a business from the ground up and currently serve as the Chief Marketing Officer overseeing operations across Pennsylvania and New Jersey. This role has equipped me with strong leadership, financial management, and strategic planning skills, all of which are critical for making informed decisions on budgets, development, and community initiatives. My experience in building consensus and fostering collaboration will help me work effectively with fellow council members and residents to address Hulmeville’s challenges, such as transparency and overdevelopment, while preserving our small-town character.
