Allentown is facing poverty issue. Our people are challenged with affordable housing, transportation cost and low wages. We can address these issues by having a living wage as our minimum wage. This will ensure workers can afford basic needs like food and housing. Helping people diversify their income through encouraging entrepreneurship and skills training.

I think Allentown has a major transparency and accountability problem. Most of us want the same things—affordable living, good jobs, and safe neighborhoods. To achieve that, we need to work together, be honest with residents, and take responsibility. And that means consistently putting people before politics and profits, especially when it's difficult.
