Public safety is my top priority. Safe streets are essential to the revitalization of District 2. We must reduce crime, support police with proper tools, and invest in infrastructure and youth programs.
Community engagement is vital to learn, understand, and address district concerns. I will bring my office to each community directly through satellite offices.
Blight removal is at the top of the list for many residents, and a key to safety and growth. We must demolish unsafe structures, return properties to the tax rolls, and spark business and homeownership across District 2.
Community engagement is key to understanding the needs of the many different neighborhoods of District 2. Council’s job is to advocate and legislate, but to be effective at both, we need to hear directly from community members. Listening is essential to being an effective leader in this role. Councilmembers are elected to serve the needs of the community and to be their voice in city government. My office will be accessible, transparent, and visible in every neighborhood of District 2. I will utilize all available tools to ensure everyone has a chance to participate.
I am a community organizer in my neighborhood. This is a volunteer position and is nonpartisan. My role is to promote community engagement through monthly meetings, community clean-ups, and neighborhood events. I have brought people together from all backgrounds to serve a common goal of positive change. Through my past management experience in retail, I managed employees with diverse backgrounds across several states. I was able to build relationships with retail partners, strategize business plans and goals, and build a solid team across a region. I believe if you have a plan for success and produce a vision that includes all people and creates meaningful change, the community will come together to put that plan into action.

The three things I'm focused on most are boosting economic development, improving public safety, and fixing the permitting, licensing, and inspection system to make it more efficient."
I will host regular town halls, listening sessions, and neighborhood meetings across all parts of the district to hear directly from residents. Every voice matters, and these forums will provide opportunities for feedback, ideas, and concerns. I’ll work closely with community groups, faith-based organizations, business leaders, and neighborhood associations to stay connected to the evolving needs of different populations within the district.
Building consensus and building relationships has been a key part of my role as chief of staff for the past 16 years. One of the most effective strategies I’ve used is bringing all stakeholders to the table early and making sure everyone feels heard. Whether we were working on housing solutions for displaced Fairywood residents or improving neighborhood safety, I always prioritized open dialogue and transparency. In office, I’d apply these same strategies—facilitating collaborative meetings, keeping communication channels open with residents and community leaders, and staying solution-focused. My goal is always to find common ground that leads to real progress for our neighborhoods.”
