Growth, law enforcement, housing, drainage
I have more than 25 years of experience in public service, which included nearly all aspects of local government management. I had direct involvement with budgets, first responders, comprehensive planning, legislative issues, parks, and roads.
The immediate concern is the hiring of a new city manager, and I am currently on the screening committee and reviewing applicants. Law enforcement and infrastructure (streets and drainage), and parks are important issues. I go into meetings well prepared. Having attended every city council meeting since elected, every budget workshop and nearly all committee meetings, it enables me to understand the facts and make an unbiased decision.
