occupation Ceramic Art Instructor — serving elderly in senior living facilities
I have been a member of the Yeadon community since 1982. I am a Penn Wood alumna and have a B.A. in sociology, anthropology, and art from Knox College, IL. I am a strong advocate for my neighborhood and have taken a stand at council meetings and zoning board hearings. I have attended nearly every council meeting in the past several years. My familiarity with the neighborhood, spanning over forty years, combined with my detailed knowledge of borough operations and government, make me an ideal candidate for Yeadon Borough Council.
The systemic lack of transparency and professionalism that spans administrations is a large part of why I have chosen to run for borough council. I have filed right-to-know requests and appealed those that have been denied. The Office of Open Records has determined residents have a right to information that is being denied.

I have been advocating that routine discussions by council take place at public meetings in accordance with the Sunshine Act. It’s clear when council votes in unison without public discussion that there was private communications prior to voting. Only as a councilor can I do more to bring transparency to the people.
Transparency is a top priority. Without transparency, there is no democracy. Additionally, borough positions should be properly advertised before being filled. It is not fiscally responsible to do otherwise. Yeadon deserves responsible governance, transparency, and respect.

occupation Senior Customer Care Coordinator

Compliance Manager supporting 280,000 customer across eleven states. I managed 14 employees and hybrid complaint tracker that received and sent timely responses with resolution to the origin of complaint (Public Utility Commission, Better Business Bureau, State Officials, and both internal and external customers). Also I have assisted thousand of customers across several states and I am committed to providing quality service with integrity, and respect.
One effective way to strengthen public trust is by working collaboratively with both the council and community members, demonstrating transparency and accountability in every action. To me, this means leading by example—fostering open communication, making informed and ethical decisions, and aligning efforts toward shared goals that benefit all stakeholders. By engaging with residents, council members and local and state officials in a meaningful and consistent manner, we can build lasting relationships based on mutual respect, integrity, and a shared commitment to the community’s success.
1. To thoroughly understand the existing short- and long-term plans aimed at advancing our borough. It is essential to listen, learn, and engage with residents, councilors and state officials to ensure these plans are inclusive and reflective of the community’s needs. 2. Work to build partnerships with the local school district to implement proven best practices to effectively engage parents and students in advancing their education and career readiness. 3. . I will collaborate with elected officials at the local, state, and neighboring municipal levels to identify effective ways of informing residents about programs, services. Improving how we share information, we can empower our residents community well-being.
