Biographical Information

1. What skills, knowledge, and experience do you have to help you be an effective Borough Mayor?

2. Why are you running for Borough Mayor?

3. Fluoridation in public water supplies has been studied by many agencies over many years. In Oct 2024, a federal court ruled that fluoride exposure poses a hazard to human health and ordered the EPA to respond. In Pennsylvania, decisions about fluoride in the water supplies are assigned to local government. What are your thoughts about the best way to manage this at the local level?

4. What are your three top priorities for this office?

Qualifications Have held the position of Mayor of Kenhorst since June 2, 2005
Have held the position of Mayor for nearly 20 years and there really isn't much I haven't seen or dealt with. I know PA Borough Code and how it applies locally.
I was hand-picked by the Borough Council back in 2005 mainly because they knew I cared about the Community. You think you can change things with a snap of a finger, but I have learned it is a long drawn out process to get things accomplished. I am running for another term because it scares me to think of what we might wind up with if I don't run!
Keep an eye on this situation, but as of this point in time there has been very little information passed on to the Local Community from the State of Pennsylvania.
Top priority is to govern with the elderly in mind. The money they saved throughout the years, isn't going to be enough the way things are going since the disastrous past 4 years. Unfortunately, there is nothing Local Government can do about School Taxes, as they continue to spiral out of control. I will continue to always lend an ear to listen to what the residents say whether it's by E-Mail or stopping me at Redner's or the Post Office!
