I have been doing the job the last nine years and believe I have made a positive difference and have succeeded. I also believe that having been Chief Deputy Prothonotary for ten years helped prepare me with the requisite knowledge and experience to perform the job.
1. Implement a new case management, e-filing, cashiering/payments system to replace the degrading one we currently are using.

2. Continue to cross-train staff to make the office as efficient and effective as possible. By cross-training, we have saved Berks County taxpayers over $2 million by eliminating positions mostly through attrition.

3. Continue to preserve historic documents. We have preserved thus far in my tenure almost 1 million records, but there is more work to be done!
Improving secure access to our records has always been a main goal of mine. During my first term, I implemented the first of its kind mobile application for our customers and visitors so information could be accessed securely 24/7/365. This mobile application also gives users the ability to communicate with me directly. We have also upgraded our website to provide more resources. Our new case management and e-filing system will greatly enhance safe and secure access to records.
