New Jersey’s most pressing challenges in 2025 hit home for working families, seniors, and young people alike. We’re seeing increased immigration enforcement that’s tearing at the fabric of our communities, schools that are still too segregated by socioeconomic barriers, housing and healthcare that’s out of reach, and unfair funding for the districts that need it most. I support passing the Immigrant Trust Act to protect our neighbors, amending the way we fund schools so every child gets a fair shot, expanding affordable housing so families and seniors can stay in the communities they built, and standing strong for diversity, equity, and inclusion in every corner of this state.
To improve New Jersey’s democracy, I support expanding voting access by making vote-by-mail easier, increasing early voting opportunities, and allowing same-day voter registration. Additionally, I believe in investing in civic education to encourage informed participation and increasing ethics oversight to promote accountability and trust in government.
To strengthen New Jersey’s economy, I would invest in infrastructure and public transit, support small businesses and workforce development, and increase access to affordable housing to reduce the cost of living.
I will work to fully update and enforce the school funding formula, expand access to universal pre-K, promote school integration, and protect federal funding for high-need school programs to promote exposure, access and opportunity.
I support passing the Immigrant Trust Act, opposing new immigration detention centers, expanding access to legal aid and language services, and creating pathways to citizenship while protecting immigrant communities from federal overreach.
