As an Assemblyman representing New Jersey’s 35th Legislative District, I am acutely aware of the economic pressures our residents face in 2025. The most pressing pricing challenges include escalating utility costs, increased transportation expenses, and the broader impacts of regional policies like New York City’s congestion pricing. These issues disproportionately affect working-class families in Paterson, Haledon, and surrounding communities. Addressing these challenges requires a multifaceted approach that combines legislative action, intergovernmental collaboration, and community engagement. As an Assemblyman, I am committed to implementing policies that alleviate financial burdens and promote economic stability for all residents of LD 35.
To improve New Jersey’s democracy, I would support a package of reforms aimed at increasing transparency, accountability, accessibility, and civic engagement.

New Jersey is one of the most diverse states in the nation. Strengthening our democracy means ensuring every voice is heard, every vote counts, and every elected official is held to the highest standard. As your Assemblymember, I’d champion reforms that bring government closer to the people.
Strengthening and supporting New Jersey’s economy means investing in people, small businesses, and long-term sustainable growth. Empower Small Businesses, Invest in Workforce Development, Strengthen the Innovation Economy, Make Housing More Affordable, Improve Transportation Infrastructure and Support Working Families. As an Assemblymen , I’ll bring a community-first approach to Trenton: listening to local businesses, workers, and families and making sure the policies we pass build a fairer, stronger economy right here at home.
Ensuring equitable funding and strong support for public education is one of the most important responsibilities we have as leaders. I will prioritize policies that guarantee every student—regardless of zip code—has access to a high-quality education. I will support Fully Funding the School Funding Formula , Target Resources Where They’re Needed Most, Expand Early Childhood Education and Modernize School Facilities. Every child in New Jersey deserves a world-class education—no matter their background, language, or family income. In Trenton, I’ll work to make that promise a reality by delivering the resources, policies, and leadership our public schools need to thrive.
I support a humane, inclusive, and economically sound immigration policy, one that reflects our values as a nation of immigrants while ensuring dignity, opportunity, and safety for all. For example a clear Pathway to Citizenship and protection for DACA. A truly democratic immigration policy is rooted in compassion, fairness, and the belief that newcomers make our communities stronger. As an Assemblymen, I’ll be a fierce advocate for policies that protect and uplift immigrants, because when they thrive, New Jersey thrives.
