Utility bills, grocery costs, prescription drug prices, and the overall cost of living are consistently rising. As a state, we need to support our residents by continuing to fund essential programs such as Senior Freeze, StayNJ, and ANCHOR, which help reduce the property tax burden. We must hold utility companies accountable for unfair rate increases and work to lower costs by expanding access to affordable energy options. Addressing the affordable housing crisis is crucial, and we should also continue to expand family-focused tax credits, like the Child Tax Credit and the Earned Income Tax Credit. Additionally, we can make New Jersey more affordable by working to lower government costs while ensuring that residents receive high-quality services.
Improving our democracy starts with protecting our electoral systems at the state level and ensuring that every eligible voter has the opportunity to participate. We must strengthen voter education, expand early voting options, and invest in local election infrastructure to enhance security and transparency. Voters deserve a system that is fair, accessible, and deserving of their trust. Educating voters about their rights and the electoral process should begin in the classroom. By providing high school students with information about when elections are held and how to get involved, we can empower them to participate actively in their local communities and the electoral process. I support the early voter registration plan implemented at the DMV, which has successfully pre-registered many of my students and my daughter.
Working families, small businesses, and the agricultural industry are the backbone of our communities. To build a thriving economy, we must strengthen our workforce while fostering business growth. This involves reducing unnecessary red tape, expanding access to capital, and offering strategic incentives in high-growth sectors to create good-paying jobs and position New Jersey as a leader in the innovation economy. Additionally, we need to enhance affordable trade and workforce development programs that prepare students for success in the global job market. Agriculture plays a significant role in driving the local economy in the 8th District. We must support initiatives like Jersey Fresh and, most importantly, listen to farmers to provide the resources they need to keep this vital industry strong. If elected, I will advocate for policies that support working families, small businesses, and our local farms.
As a public high school teacher, school funding is one of my top priorities. Quality education begins with fully funding our education system, from universal pre-K to public universities and community colleges. Every student deserves access to a quality, affordable education that prepares them for the global workforce. If elected, I will advocate for fair and equitable funding for public schools. This includes implementing a funding formula that allocates resources based on student needs, particularly for special education and mental health services. We must increase state funding for higher education to ensure that financially vulnerable students are not left behind and to expand access to trade schools and workforce development programs. I will support policies that position New Jersey as a leader in providing high-quality, affordable public education for all students, regardless of their zip code, and the skills necessary for success in the global marketplace.
Both parties in Washington have failed to deliver on comprehensive immigration reform. We need secure borders, fair laws, and a legal immigration process that actually works. At the local level, we must be focused on practical solutions. That means ensuring every resident feels safe reporting crimes, protecting workers from exploitation, and supporting pathways to legal status for those who contribute to our communities and economy. We must uphold due process and hold violent offenders accountable—while rejecting the harmful politicization of immigration. Our policies should reflect our core values: security, compassion, and sound economic principles.

New Jersey is facing an affordability crisis, with rising costs affecting families through property taxes, utility rates, grocery prices, healthcare, and more.

In the Assembly, I have prioritized reducing the property tax burden for homeowners, renters, and retirees while also working to lower utility costs and keep prescription drug costs in check.

I successfully expanded access to pre-K and full-day kindergarten to give our kids the best shot at a brighter future and ease the burden of childcare on working families. I introduced and supported legislation to lower energy bills, modernize our systems, and protect consumers with greater transparency and accountability. The legislation caps annual electric and gas rate hikes at 2%, expands access to affordable community solar, and allows towns and counties to pool resources to cut costs. The package also invests in next-generation energy solutions, such as small modular reactors, requires clear and simple utility bills, holds companies
Improving our democracy begins with protecting our electoral systems at the state level and ensuring every eligible voter has the opportunity to participate. That’s why I sponsored legislation to make Election Day a holiday for students in public colleges and universities, and I will continue to fight for policies that expand access to the ballot box and make the electoral process more inclusive. We must also strengthen voter education, expand early voting opportunities, and invest in local election infrastructure to safeguard security and transparency. Voters deserve a system that is fair, accessible, and worthy of their trust. In the Assembly, I will champion common-sense reforms that restore confidence in our elections and ensure that every voice is heard and every vote counts.

In South Jersey, agriculture is vital for our local economy. In Legislative District 8, farmers not only represent our heritage but are key to our future. We need to support programs like Jersey Fresh and listen to farmers to understand their resource needs. By investing in agriculture, small businesses, and working people, we can achieve sustainable economic growth that prioritizes the well-being of our communities.
Quality education begins with fully funding our schools—from universal pre-K to public universities and community colleges. Every student deserves access to a quality, affordable education that prepares them for the global workplace.

I support a fair funding formula that allocates resources based on student needs, including special education and mental health services. I’ve successfully expanded pre-K and full-day kindergarten, and we must continue to invest in giving our youngest learners a strong foundation for success.

State funding for higher education has remained flat for over a decade. We must increase funding to ensure financially vulnerable students aren't left behind and expand access to trade schools and workforce development programs.

I will continue to advocate for policies that ensure New Jersey leads in providing high-quality, affordable public education for all students, regardless of their zip code.
For too long, both parties in Washington have failed to deliver on comprehensive immigration reform. We need secure borders, fair laws, and a legal immigration process that actually works.

As a state legislator, I’m focused on practical, local solutions here.
