South Jersey families are facing an affordability crisis. I passed legislation requiring utilities to give customers better tools to manage costs and am sponsoring bills to boost NJ’s domestic energy output while protecting working families from subsidizing large users like AI data centers. Rising property taxes, groceries, childcare, and healthcare are stretching household budgets. We must hold the line on taxes, deliver the promised 50% property tax cut for seniors, and provide relief for families. I support capping utility rate hikes at 2% to prevent price gouging. We must also invest in local agriculture, small businesses, and infrastructure to support rural communities. Ensuring South Jersey gets its fair share of state funding is vital for education, healthcare, and transportation. I helped secure a grant to improve Salem County transportation, expanding access to food, healthcare, and education, and passed legislation funding critical dam repairs across South Jersey.
To strengthen our democracy, we must ensure citizens have safe, secure, and easy access to the electoral process. This begins with safeguarding elections through robust security measures to protect voter data and prevent interference. Expanding early voting and access to vote-by-mail will empower more people to participate in our democracy. We must also prioritize voting access for individuals with disabilities, providing the necessary resources and accommodations to guarantee that everyone can exercise their right to vote. In addition to expanding access, we must pursue comprehensive government ethics reform to rebuild public trust in our institutions.
Supporting rural economies is critical. We must ensure local control to prevent unregulated mega warehouse development and invest in local job creation and family farms. Small businesses and working families are the backbone of our economy. To foster growth, we must support them with fair tax policies, reduced red tape, and job creation incentives. I’m sponsoring bills to remove bureaucratic hurdles, protect small businesses from excessive fines, and improve communication between state agencies and business owners. Expanding high-speed internet in rural South Jersey is essential for emergency response, telehealth, education, and economic progress. Connectivity is no longer a luxury—it’s a necessity that will unlock new opportunities and drive long-term growth. By addressing the needs of rural communities, we can strengthen local economies and ensure no part of South Jersey is left behind.
Investing in K-12 education is essential to student success, especially in rural South Jersey. We must address funding inequities, so all schools have the resources to deliver high-quality education. This includes fully funding universal pre-K, mental health services, wellness rooms, and training for faculty to support students’ academic and emotional needs. I secured funding for the Clayton Model, which offers individualized educational and emotional support for elementary students struggling with mental health and learning challenges. We must also expand post-secondary opportunities. Rowan University is vital to workforce development and South Jersey’s economy, and continued investment is key. Vocational education is equally important. I passed a bill to expand Cumberland County Technical Education Center’s career programs, helping students prepare for in-demand jobs and successful careers.
For decades, America has suffered from a broken immigration system, made worse by Congress’s repeated failure to act. As a result, we find ourselves at a chaotic crossroads. It is critical that we secure our borders and finally enact comprehensive immigration reform—reform that includes a fair, earned pathway to citizenship for undocumented individuals who contribute positively to our country. We must also modernize our visa system to reflect the economic realities facing our businesses and farmers, who depend on a reliable and legal workforce to thrive. At the same time, we must uphold due process—a cornerstone of American justice—while making it clear that individuals who commit violent crimes will be held fully accountable and denied safe harbor. Our immigration policy must reflect compassion and an unwavering commitment to public safety.

New Jersey families struggle with rising costs—from utility bills to groceries to property taxes. To address these challenges, I authored the Electric Bill Cap Act, limiting utility rate increases to the inflation rate for families earning up to $120,000. I also sponsored the Small Business Interruption Grant Program to help local businesses recover from interruptions due to public construction or infrastructure projects. And I sponsored a bipartisan retail theft bill—now signed into law—that cracks down on organized shoplifting rings threatening public safety and driving up costs for small businesses and consumers. These legislative concepts are practical, targeted solutions that support Main Street businesses and working families. Additionally, I’m working to expand workforce training in high-demand fields and ensure South Jersey gets its fair share of state resources. We need leadership focused on affordability, opportunity, and public safety.
Improving our democracy requires public confidence that elections are fair, transparent, and accessible, which includes improved voter education, election security, expanding early voting, and strong local election infrastructure.

Public opinion has shown a deep distrust in the electoral process and government. We have a moral obligation to reverse that trend. I support common-sense ethics reforms to restore public trust—such as stricter disclosure rules and more vigorous enforcement of campaign finance laws. Governments should be open and accountable and elected officials should focus on delivering real results rather than playing partisan games.
Small businesses account for nearly 63% of all new jobs, which is why I support growing our economy from the middle out—by supporting small businesses, investing in workforce development, and aligning education with industry needs. In the legislature, I sponsored A4971, creating a Small Business Interruption Grant Program to help Main Street merchants recover from disruptions beyond their control. I’ve also led efforts to expand career & technical education programs in construction trades, health professions, and advanced manufacturing through our community colleges. We’re building stronger connections between education and industry to prepare students for real, local jobs.

Additionally, I support diversifying New Jersey’s energy mix—balancing innovation in clean energy with reliability & affordability. I’ve been working to expand access to affordable housing and lower healthcare costs by increasing transparency, strengthening consumer protections, and investing in preventative care.
Every student in New Jersey deserves access to a high-quality public education, regardless of their zip code or family income. I support a fair and predictable school funding formula that ensures resources are distributed based on student needs, including special education, mental health services, and underserved communities. I also strongly advocate for expanding career pathways starting in high school. My legislative work focuses on building partnerships between K-12 districts, community colleges, and employers to prepare students for in-demand careers—especially in health professions, advanced manufacturing, and construction. We must invest not only in traditional academics but also in practical skills so that students graduate ready for college, work, or both. That means fully funding schools, supporting teachers, and creating more flexible, hands-on learning opportunities that reflect today’s economy.
Our immigration system is broken—and both parties in Washington have failed to fix it. We need secure borders, fair laws, and a functional legal immigration process. As a state legislator, I focus on practical, local solutions: ensuring all residents feel safe reporting crimes, protecting workers from exploitation, and supporting pathways to legal status for those who contribute to our economy. We must vigilantly protect due process while holding violent criminal acts accountable and end the politicizing of immigration. Immigration policies must prioritize security, compassion, and economic reality.
