New Jersey’s top challenges are affordability, sustainability, and restoring trust in government. I support raising the minimum wage to reflect the needs of working families in an inflationary environment, incentivizing shared municipal services to lower property taxes, and expanding affordable housing (where possible) so families and seniors can thrive. I’ll fight for a nurse safe staffing law, and protect patients while holding insurers accountable with surprise billing. To protect public schools, I oppose privatization and will advocate to update the school funding formula to reflect real costs and constraints like the 2% property tax cap. I support investments in clean energy and infrastructure to create jobs and reduce emissions and excessive traffic. I’ll work to end ballot manipulation, advocate for term limits, and expand public financing to reduce pay-to-play politics. New Jersey must be more self-sustaining and people-focused—it's time for bold, transparent leadership.
Trust in government is eroded when transparency is lacking. I advocate for ending ballot manipulation practices. Although some changes to the county line balloting system were initiated, we need a truly fair ballot that embraces parity among candidates without preferential positions or bracketing. Candidates should be elected because of their values and vision—not their position on the ballot or solely due to close association with political party committees. I support streaming legislative sessions to increase public access and ensuring that NJ government operates openly and fairly. To reduce pay-to-play politics, I also support implementing a campaign funding matching program, setting reasonable contribution caps, and enacting legislative term limits to restore public trust and level the playing field. Addressing these challenges requires collaborative efforts and a deep commitment to equity and justice. It also requires the collective effort of the people to step up and serve.
The high cost of living, particularly property taxes, burdens many New Jersey residents. Seniors should have the ability to age in place and continue to be a part of the vibrant communities that they helped to build. I propose incentivizing municipalities to share services and personnel, reducing redundancies, and lowering property taxes. Additionally, expanding and incentivizing affordable housing initiatives (where possible) will help our seniors and working families find stable, cost-effective homes. As federal funding becomes increasingly unstable, New Jersey must become more self-sustainable—we need to innovate at the state and local levels to strengthen our economic resilience and ensure essential services are protected.
Education is the foundation of our future, yet many New Jersey schools—especially in under-resourced and economically marginalized communities—face chronic underfunding and deep resource disparities. I oppose privatization efforts that divert public dollars from districts already struggling under a flawed funding formula, rising healthcare costs, and the constraints of the 2% property tax cap. Families—including mine—have made sacrifices to live in vibrant communities that value strong public schools, and pulling funding risks undermining both educational equity and neighborhood stability. I respect that some families choose private education for various reasons, but public dollars must remain committed to strengthening public schools for all. I support fully funding and adjusting the school aid formula and am open to innovative solutions that expand access without weakening local school budgets or deepening inequities. Public school students and teachers deserve our full support.
I support the Immigrant Trust Act because it makes New Jersey safer, fairer, and more inclusive. This bill ensures local agencies focus on serving communities—not enforcing federal immigration laws—so that all residents can access healthcare, schools, and justice without fear. It protects sensitive locations like schools and hospitals, strengthens public safety by building trust between immigrant communities and law enforcement, and prevents the misuse of state resources. As a healthcare provider and public education leader, I’ve seen how fear undermines health, learning, and safety. Building trust with local law enforcement is essential to reducing adversarial relationships and ensuring every resident feels safe coming forward when they need help. New Jersey must be a state where all people, regardless of status, are treated with dignity and allowed due process of law.

Affordability remains one of the most pressing concerns for New Jersey's inhabitants. While our state offers an ideal setting for family life, entrepreneurship, and retirement, it is imperative that we ensure these opportunities are accessible to all. To this end, we must take steps such as broadening the eligibility criteria for the earned income tax credit, the ANCHOR tax rebates, and the child tax credit. Moreover, we should collaborate with federal authorities to reintroduce the SALT deduction and foster shared services and municipalities. I will continue to champion these efforts and strive to make health care and prescription drugs more affordable, as well as facilitate homeownership by streamlining savings and purchase processes.
In my opinion, it is crucial that every qualified voter in our state has access to elections that are equitable, unbiased, and safe. That's why I endorse policies to extend early voting, enable same-day voter registration, and enhance the accessibility of voting by mail.
As a member of the State Assembly, my main focus is to bolster our state's economy and establish a robust middle class, all while maintaining fiscal prudence. Over the past five years, we have eliminated 18 taxes that were an excessive burden. Additionally, I am dedicated to providing incentives for first-time homebuyers, expanding tax rebate programs, and guaranteeing that our world-class education system receives the appropriate funding.
Ensuring that our children receive a thorough and comprehensive education is crucial, and we are fortunate to have some of the best schools in the country. However, despite our best-in-the-nation public education, we must address the significant disparities in education between different districts in our state. To accomplish this, we need to cultivate a strong teacher workforce, with a particular focus on encouraging candidates from diverse backgrounds and supporting them throughout their higher education. I am committed to promoting legislation that would establish a teacher residency program and provide equitable funding to schools.
Our nation was built by immigrants, and protecting their rights is essential to preserving the core values of our national identity. I am deeply horrified by the Trump Administration’s denial of due process to those being unjustly detained and disappeared. I will do everything in my power to ensure that these fundamental rights are protected here in New Jersey. I stand in strong solidarity with immigrant communities across New Jersey and firmly oppose the presence of ICE in schools, places of worship, and community spaces.

One of the most critical challenges our residents face in New Jersey is the high cost of living. Despite being an exceptional place to raise a family, start a business, and retire, it is crucial that we ensure that these opportunities are accessible and affordable to all. This necessitates taking measures such as broadening the eligibility criteria for the earned income tax credit, ANCHOR tax rebates, and child tax credit. Furthermore, it involves collaborating with our federal counterparts to reintroduce the SALT deduction and enhancing shared services and partnerships among municipalities. I will continue to advocate for these policies, as well as work toward reducing the cost of health care and prescription drugs and streamlining the process of purchasing and saving up for a home.
Ensuring that all eligible voters in our state have access to equitable, just, and secure elections is a core tenet of my beliefs. That is why I endorse policies to increase early voting opportunities, permit same-day voter registration, and enhance accessibility to mail-in voting.
As a member of the State Assembly, I am dedicated to bolstering a thriving economy in our state. I prioritize the establishment of a robust middle class while maintaining fiscal prudence. Over the past five years, we have eliminated 18 onerous taxes. Additionally, I am committed to promoting incentives for first-time homebuyers, implementing effective tax rebate programs, and ensuring adequate funding for our superior education system.
Ensuring that our children receive a complete and inclusive education is crucial, and we are fortunate to have some of the finest schools in the nation here in our state. However, despite ranking among the top states for public education, New Jersey still faces significant challenges in providing equal opportunities for education across districts. It is vital that we cultivate a strong teacher workforce, encourage candidates from diverse backgrounds to enter the profession, and provide them with support throughout their higher education. I am committed to advocating for legislation that would establish a teacher residency program and equitable funding to address these issues.
As the child of immigrants, I deeply understand the importance of strong federal protections and accessible pathways for legal immigration. As immigrant communities in New Jersey face increasing attacks from the federal government, I stand resolutely against ICE’s presence in schools, places of worship, and other public spaces where our communities should feel safe and supported. I am outraged by the Trump Administration’s blatant disregard for due process, disappearing individuals without justice or accountability. Here in New Jersey, I am committed to defending those rights and ensuring every person is treated with dignity under the law.
