Affordability is the most pressing challenge facing New Jersey families. Rising costs—from property taxes and utility bills to groceries, healthcare, and tuition—are squeezing household budgets across the state.

As a state legislator, I've prioritized easing the financial burden on homeowners, renters, and retirees. I've worked to lower utility costs and help keep prescription drug prices in check.

This year, I passed legislation to limit lot rent increases for mobile home residents to 3% and sponsored bills to cut energy costs by capping utility rate increases at 2%, expanding access to clean energy, and implementing cooperative purchasing for municipalities. I also strongly support continued funding for property tax relief programs like Senior Freeze, StayNJ, and ANCHOR.

We must continue working to lower government costs, foster a healthy environment for economic growth, and ensure more of our dollars stay in our communities to fund roads and services.
Improving our democracy starts with protecting our electoral systems and making it easier for every eligible voter to participate. At the state level, we must enhance voter education, expand early voting, and invest in secure, modern election infrastructure. Voters deserve a process that is transparent, secure, and worthy of their trust. In the Assembly, I will continue to champion common-sense reforms that increase participation and restore confidence in our elections—because a stronger democracy begins with fair and accessible elections for all.

Working families and small businesses are the backbone of our communities—and a strong economy depends on both thriving together. To support long-term growth, we must ensure small businesses have the tools to succeed while investing in a skilled, resilient workforce.

That means expanding access to financial resources for small businesses and continuing to provide smart, targeted economic incentives—especially in high-growth sectors that drive innovation and job creation.

We must also improve access to trade schools and workforce development programs to provide students with affordable, practical education that prepares them for success in the global economy.
Education is the foundation of opportunity in America and gives every child a chance to succeed. Providing quality education starts with fully funding our schools, offering universal pre-K, and supporting public universities and community colleges. This ensures students have access to affordable education and the skills needed to thrive in the global job market.

In the Assembly, I will continue to support policies that strengthen public education. This includes advocating for a fair and equitable school funding formula, expanding access to universal pre-K, increasing investment in our public universities and community colleges, and providing greater support for trade schools and workforce development programs that equip students for in-demand careers.

I am committed to keeping New Jersey at the forefront of education, ensuring that every student has access to high-quality, affordable education in safe and modern learning environments.

We need secure borders, fair laws, and a functional immigration system that reflects our values and supports our economy. Unfortunately, Washington has failed to deliver the comprehensive reform we need.

As a state legislator, I believe in a balanced, practical approach—one that ensures every resident feels safe, protects workers from exploitation, and supports pathways to legal status for those who contribute to our communities and economy.

We must also modernize our visa system to meet the real-world needs of businesses and farmers who rely on a stable, legal workforce to grow and succeed.

At the same time, we must uphold due process, a cornerstone of American justice—while making it clear that individuals who commit violent crimes will be held fully accountable and denied safe harbor. Our immigration policies should build public trust and strengthen the fabric of our communities.

New Jersey families are being squeezed by rising costs. In the Assembly, I'm fighting to reduce property taxes, lower utility and education costs, and keep prescriptions affordable.

This year, I introduced legislation to cut energy costs, modernize our systems, and increase transparency and accountability. The plan caps annual rate hikes at 2%, expands community solar, and lets towns pool resources to save money. It also invests in next-generation energy like small modular reactors, requires clear utility bills, holds companies accountable for excess profits, and bans rate hikes during extreme weather.

I sponsored a bill to cap annual tuition increases at 2% for our state's public colleges and co-sponsored legislation to limit lot rent increases for mobile home residents to 3%.

Continued funding for Senior Freeze, StayNJ, and ANCHOR is essential to alleviating the property tax burden. We must continue to lower government costs while ensuring residents receive high-quality services.
Improving our democracy begins with protecting our electoral systems at the state level and expanding access to voting to increase voter participation.

We must continue to focus on enhancing voter education and election security, expanding early voting, and strengthening local election infrastructure.

Voters deserve a process that is transparent, secure, and worthy of their confidence. In the Assembly, I will advocate for common-sense reforms that restore public trust in our elections.
To promote a thriving economy, we must support businesses and empower our workforce. This means providing financial resources to small businesses and economic incentives focused on high-growth sectors to create viable job opportunities. Improving access to trade and workforce development programs is crucial to equip students with affordable education for the global job market.

I sponsored A5853 to establish the New Jersey Regulatory Modernization Commission, which is tasked with assessing the impact of existing regulations on economic development and public trust. The commission will recommend reforms to streamline or eliminate outdated regulations, ensuring that public health and safety are not compromised. The bill includes a digital “Red Tape Reduction Portal” for residents and stakeholders to submit concerns and reform ideas. We must empower communities and foster a regulatory environment that supports innovation and job creation.
Quality education begins with fully funding our schools—from universal pre-K to public universities and community colleges. Every student deserves access to a quality, affordable education that prepares them for the global workplace.

I support a fair funding formula that allocates resources based on student needs, including special education and mental health services. Investing in pre-K is essential to give our youngest learners a strong foundation for success.

State funding for higher education has remained flat for over a decade. We must increase funding to ensure financially vulnerable students aren't left behind and expand access to trade schools and workforce development programs.

I prioritize public education in the Assembly and serve on the Higher Education Committee. I will continue advocating for policies that ensure New Jersey leads in providing high-quality, affordable public education for all students, regardless of zip code.
For too long, both parties in Washington have failed to deliver on comprehensive immigration reform. We need secure borders, fair laws, and a legal immigration process that actually works.

As a state legislator, I’m focused on practical, local solutions here. That means ensuring every resident feels safe reporting crimes, protecting workers from exploitation, and supporting pathways to legal status for those who contribute to our communities and economy.

We must uphold due process and hold violent offenders accountable—while rejecting the harmful politicization of immigration. Our policies should reflect our core values: security, compassion, and economic common sense.
