We have several issues facing the Village in the upcoming years that include a multi-million dollar Fire Department, reconstruction of Highway 67 west, a Village Center Downtown Master plan to address Parking, Traffic, and better use of Village Property. And , most importantly, how the Village going forward makes sure there is Public Participation in every step of the decision process. Taking our time with the maximum amount of Public Participation on important issues that can change the culture, direction and character of our village always produces the best outcome.

I will Set up a Citizens Review Board (CRB), that will consist of all points of view. This Advisory Committee will review all major future Projects, Development requests, current Ordinances, and our Comprehensive Plan, among other things. Propose an Ordinance that requires an update of our Master Plan if any of the Major Elements are being changed, instead of just an Amendment. I will require that all questions that are asked by Residents be answered within three business days. I will take steps to make our Web-site more responsive and user Friendly. I will set up once a month Question and Answer time at Village Hall prior to our regular Board Meetings.

The pressing issues facing our Village today is the lack of transparency and open government. As President of the Williams Bay Business Association, Village Board Member, Lion’s Club Past President and current Board Member, I have spent decades bringing Residents, Businesses, Civic Groups together on a monthly basis to work on common projects and goals. Every Five years I have put out a Survey to listen to what you have to say and want from the Village and Business Community. I would like to say let’s keep meeting, talking and supporting each other as we go forward into the future.
