1. Win stronger tenant protections that allow working class people to stay in their homes and their neighborhoods. 2. Guarantee access to housing, healthcare, and education for immigrant New Yorkers. 3. Make SUNY and CUNY tuition free.
Climate change is the greatest threat we face. It is man-made, and caused by corporate greed. We must act immediately to combat our climate emergency, because its effects will be irreversible for our children and grandchildren. Quite literally, we must stop climate change to save the world. Our fight must base its solutions firmly in the principles of racial and economic justice, and prioritize the people of color who have been most harmed by climate change. As a mother, I know that this is a fight we cannot afford to lose.

I will continue to be a vocal advocate for a Green New Deal, guided by the principles of eco-socialism.
Get big money out of politics, end dealmaking by “3 people in a room,” and fight for budgets that tax the rich their fair share.
I grew up undocumented in New York, and understand first hand the immigrant and POC experience in the US. I know what it’s like to live in constant fear that you or a loved one will be deported or to be judged because of where you are from. I understand how language can impact the way people perceive political issues. I will continue to discuss these issues in an inclusive manner that highlights how race and class issues are connected and impact each other. Through my campaign, I hope people can recognize how class-based and racial oppression are both results of capitalism.
