City of Klamath Falls Councilor Ward 3

The members of a City Council supervise the city departments, either directly or through a city manager or administrator. City Councilors pass laws, set policy, decide which services will be provided, and develop budgets; they negotiate work contracts and make hiring and firing decisions. A city officer must be a qualified elector under the state constitution who has resided in the city before being elected for a period of time that is specified in the city charter.Klamath Falls City Councilors are elected by districts known as wards. This race is for a 2-year term. Councilors are elected on a nonpartisan basis. In most cities, the City Councilors are unpaid.

Economic Growth ie professional job opportunities big and small and Housing Development is crucial to the success of the City of Klamath Falls.
Financial responsibility and oversight is extremely important to me for the long term viability of the city’s financial budget as well as connecting personally with my constituents on issues and topics that are important to them and ensuring their voices are represented to the best of my ability.
The city staff in all departments work tirelessly to bring continued infrastructure and municipal services to our community. Funding these services comes from various sources. As city councilor it is my job to work with our City Manager to offer support and new ideas to promote continued financial growth in these areas as well as ongoing management.
