I have 16 1/2 years of experience in this position and 2 1/2 years of experience on the Circuit Court bench. I also have more than 30 years of experience in making our community a better and safer place through my work on nonprofit boards and commissions.
Experience and knowledge of the law is important, but it is also very important how citizens are treated in court. I am committed to the principles of procedural justice. Everyone has a right to tell their side of the story and be heard in court. My decisions are unbiased and guided by transparent decision making. All parties have a right to be treated with courtesy and respect. I believe that people deserve trustworthy decision makers who listen, care, and do what is right for everyone involved.
Eviction cases go to the Circuit Court, not the Justice Court.
